  1. This should have been the first pic. I resized it as the others were to big and make it hard to see what's going on. YES THAT IS MUCH BETTER. I may resize a few others.
  2. Another front shot that is a little blurry. The furniture layout is a sofa with two built in recliners and is flanked with two swivel recliner rockers, all in a very dark burgundy/brown that almost looks black in low light.
  3. See the resized pic HT-08A below, the attached one is hard to see as it is too big. The right rear. The Cornwall will hang obove the door and the LaScala will hang just as the front does. THe double doors go to the existing house. I have two sets of double doors and a short hallway that separtate the HT from the existing house. The doors you see are exterior insulated doors. Eight feet beyond them is another det of wooden double doors that open into the existing. The sound isolation from the existing house is very good.
  4. A shot of the Rear left corner. That is the door to the new master bedroom. The thru wall is concrete block and the interior door is insulated. The cornwalls will hang in the back on their sides.
  5. A nice shot of the LaScala hanging over the TV. A resized version is in a reply below with pic HT-5a.
  6. See the revised pic HT-04a below the attached one is too large. A blurry front shot that shows the other side of the front.
  7. See the resized photo HT-02a below. the attached one is incorrect. As promised here are some pics of the new HT room. This one is of the front. It is a little blurry but the Khorns are in the corners with tht hereseys on top of them on stands. One sub is just inside of each khorn. Obviously you see one of the LaScalas hanging above the TV. Soon all of the speakers with the exception of the Khorns will hang similiar style to this. You will see in the other pics that the Cornwalls are sitting in the Back corners on the floor for now and the rear center LaScala is on the floor with the KSW-12 on top as a rear sub until the RSW-15 arrives. EJ
  8. I would say the only way you could do it is to unhook it from your computer since the amp for all of the speakers is in the sub. It can be done easily. Just get the necessary cable to go from rca to whatever input is on the promedia, split it at the promdia via a y-adapter and run the split lfe signal into the promedia inputs. just watch out for the gain from your amp as I'm not sure the impedence is correct. Start with a low setting on the suboutput in your reciever and work your way up. Note: I can not be responsible for any damage you may cause to your promedia. hehe EJ

    HT Room

Well I have been holding off saying anything because I havent got any pictures yet but I am moved into my HT romm and all I can say is that I have never heard anything that compares to the sound. The room makes such a huge difference. It sounds awesome. I have only got the one LaScala hung above the TV from the Stailess coil rod as I explained in previous posts but it looks really good. Anyway the rest of the speakers are on the floor except the heresey's which are sitting on stands and the KSW-12 is sitting on the rear center LaScala as a rear sub, soon to be replaced by the RSW-15. For those of you who don't know anything about me, I just built and addition to my house with a dedicated HT room. The room is 25'x30'9.5'. My parents bought the Bee Gee's new DVD from a concert in 97' and we listened to it this weekend. I felt like I was at the show. Aside, what a great concert I highly reccomend it. I had the system pretty much cranked to the max. My mother commented that she felt like she was getting a full body massage. Anyway in that room the SPL meter from the middle of the room was maxing out at around 118db's which I thought was pretty good. I love the dual ultra's as they are working awesome. I have two dedicated 30amp outlets behind the system and all of the speaker wiring is 9 ga in the walls. I think the dedicated outlets has helped stabilize the power to everything and increased the performance. I will try to get som pics posted before the weekend. EJ

  11. I am hearing talk of the Pioneer DV-45A having the "Chroma Bug". I have no clue what this is? EJ
  12. I ordered the RSW-15 three weeks ago online. I am still waiting. None of the diso**** Klipsch suppliers have this damn thing. I will continue to wait. I ordered from AcousticSoundDesign. I came real close to buying from Sound Advice a couple weeks ago but I just can't stand most of the salesmen there. Unless you walk in in a dress shirt and slacks they treat you like sh!t. I believe I walked around for about 30 minutes until I actually had to call some guy over to help. It pisses me off because I could walk out of that store with anything they have and I wouldn't have to finance it. Just because I was in shorts and a T-shirt I was invisible. It's unfortuanate that these are the only jacka$$e$ in the neghborhood that sell Klipsch authorized. I was in there negotiating and the best price I could get was around $1500 out the door but I can get it for $1200 online with a matching warranty. Venting EJ
  13. Moon, I believe what you meant to say was the sub is going to have a negative imapact on anything you put anywhere near it.LOL The sub isn't even going to feel that shelf. Hehe Bruins, You better lag that shelf to the wall and glue down any hockey stuff you plan on putting on top of it other wise it will all end up on the floor, and thus your cover will be blown. EJ
  14. Keep in mind what you gain in lower Freq you will lose off the top. I wouldn't mess with em', just add a sub, you'll be happier in the end by keeping that tight bass kick that the LaScala has. EJ
  15. Bruins, If she won't let you keep it you definitlly need to send it back as soon as it arrives "Return to Sender". THe shipping on those things will cost you. I would spill the beans now and seee how it plays out. If you don't want to go that route you could always move your HT into the utility room, fake a couple of pipes into it and call it a hot water heater.LOL EJ
  16. High, put the tweeters from the heresey's in the cornwalls. If they blow at least you still have brand new ones in the heresey's and you know that thae problem is probably with the cornwalls. I'm not buying into the whole blowing them because you have a 200wpc amp. If you are not cranking them then no prob. I crank the piss out of mine all of the time and I have only blown a tweeter once, and that was because of stupidity. I would check your crossover wires to make sure the wires are good and that the signal path is good. If there is some bad wiring it can heat up the tweeters and fry the coils especially with an amp that will give it what ever it will need to run such as your 200wpc unit. EJ
  17. Skip, Since Klipsch are so efficient they do not require nearly as much power as other peakers do to hit the same db's(loundness). Khorns for instance will put out 104db with one watt one meter away from the speaker. So no, you do not need alot of power, but a little extra never hurts IMO. I like my Yamaha RX-V1 but I am the minority on this BB which is fine. To me Dennon sounds bland and muddy. I like the sound of the HK's they have always been great receivers. I hae not heard the Rotel or the Outlaw, but have heard alot of good about the outlaw's. EJ
  18. Possibly klipsch could have a section called Kbay and we could take it over as a buy/sell area. Thus they would not be advocating it nor would they be promoting it only moderating our freedom of speech. Just a thought. I can't remember what type of agreement we had to join the BB but I am sure they had some language in there that protected themselves from anything that happens on this BB. I would reccommend that it be COD sales/purchases only. EJ
  19. Art, Can a better deal be found? Yes, but that is a very fair price and seems to be around the going rate for a nice set. About 7 months ago I bought a mint pair of 89' black ones off ebay for 2750 which I thought was very fair considering they had only been palyed about 80 hours. Also keep in mind that they will be the last set of main speakers you will enver need to buy. I would go for them. EJ
  20. Justin, You will be in my prayers and I pray you are OK. You have made quite an impact in this BB so I'm sure that you are touching lives outside of this BB. God Bless. EJ
  21. I'm not sure if Qman is listening but one of the guys that has the rockets is on merrit Island which is where Q lives. Maybe we can convince him to go listen to them and give us a detailed reprot. Then he can take that guy over to his place and knock his socks off. Mike S. "You could play dirt through them and they would still probably sound good" Too Funny Possibly a clay loam or a sand would also be good source material.LOL EJ
  22. It seems like it is taking forever but last night I installed all of my speaker wall plates but still have to deal with the large nest of wires sticking out of the wall where all of my inputs are. I would love to have you over some weekend. I will keep yu informed when it is ready for listening. EJ
  23. Q, You never opend that door for me when I bought the Scala's from you. LOL But then again I wasn't flashing cash and you were nice enough to take a check and let me leave with the speakers. I love EM!!! EJ
  24. I haven't heard from Mike for a while either. Last time I talked to him he was unsure of his situation here in orlando and he may currently be relocating as the company he was working for was going out of buisness or something like that. I hope everything is allright. Maybe I will give him a phone call this week and see where he has been. EJ
