  1. i got them this morning, but i am awaiting my onkyo to come in, which will be here tomorrow. I finally opened them up tonight to check everything out. I had prior engagements earlier so thats why I couldnt open the boxes and just stare at them in awww. lol today was a great day, I found out im having a boy, and I got a klipsch home theater setup, what more could you ask for. yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. can someone guide me maybe to a website that has good speaker wire that is 14 gauge.
  3. I was in a room at my local klipsch dealer and the room size was around 12x15 roughly. They had RS 42 or 52s on the back walls facing toward the listening area and they sounded great. they were around 7 feet up the wall, maybe eight.
  4. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10239&cs_id=1023902&p_id=2791&seq=1&format=2 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=100-020 I have no idea where to start. I know I need at least 16 gauge, but I would like to get 14 to be sure. Does it matter what brand or anything else I need to know about what kind to get for this system in my sig? thanks
  5. I did it! I went and listened to both the RF 62s and 82s. there was a small subtle difference. You could hear a little more bass from the RF 82s. but for the price I got all this for less than $1500:
  6. ok now im in between the RF 82s and he RF 62s. about 170 dollar difference overall. does it matter that ill be running the RC 62 and 10d with either of these? thanks
  7. hi all. I just pulled the trigger on the Onkyo TXSR605. got it for $400 free shipping and a three year warranty for $29 extra! VANNS all the way.
  8. how good are sherwood newcastle recivers? anyone
  9. I just got all the furniture about a month ago, and completely revovated the whole living room with new furnitures, pictures, and rugs. came out pretty nice i think. lol
  10. yeah everyone should know by now that, monster cable is overpriced.
  11. ONE more thing i never asked. What is the best speaker wire for these speakers? links, brand names etc...
  12. almost positve i am, still have to get that damn entertainment center built. i sent you a pm, let me know
  13. Coming SOON: 2 RF62s, 1 RC62, RW10d, 2 R1650-C with Onkyo 605 all in a custom built wall entertainment center. Current setup: Sony SXRD KDS60A3000, Xbox 360, PS3, DirecTV DVR HR21
  14. ok, he came back with a price at is $1579 for everything. a little high for me considering i have to get a receiver also. ahhhhhh
  15. I was wondering if there is a place on here where I could find where other memebers posted pics of their klipsch home theater setup? thanks
  16. Ok, just called and im going to try and go with this package: 2 RF62s, 1 RC62, 2 1650-C ceiling speakers, 1 RW10d I told him to work me up a price since i changed the bookshelf speakers to floorstanding and the center channel from 52 to 62. I also changed the sub from rpw10 to the rw10d. fingers crossed for great price! And since I couldnt find a wall entertainment center to house my sony sxrd 60 and my center channel, Im building one from scratch. LOL
  17. They all sound great to me. I heard the rb-51s on a regular sony 510 and they sounded fine. i think im almost for sure going to get the floor standing rf62s for a little extra money. If i traded in the rc52 for the 62 and the 10 sub for the 12, i think i would be basically in this price range or package they have:2 RF-62, 1 RC-62, 2 R1800-C, 1 RW-12d $1799.99
  18. youthman, went back to my dealer a few minutes ago and found this setup for sale: 2 RB-81, 1 RC-52, 2 1650-C, 1 RW-10d $1399.95 what do you think about the RB-81s or should I go with the RF-62s? thanks again.
  19. onkyo 605 didnt do bad at all. good receiver for the money
  20. 90 W + 90 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08%, 2 channels driven, FTC) 105 W + 105 W (8 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7%, 2 channels driven, FTC) 110 W + 110 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.1%, 2 channels driven, FTC) this is the specs on the ONKYO 605 for the left and right front. can u explain the differences in power rating and THD. I understand what THD is,but not understanding why the power actually goes up from 90 to 105 then to 110. I also understand the ohms from car stereos when i was younger. but when would i ever get 110 per channel or 105? and Im actually almost sold on this particular receiver!! check this out also, not sure if a reputable dealer:http://www.superdigitalmedia.com/product_info.php?products_id=1872
  21. right! 2 or 3 HDMI inputs is fine. 2-4 optical inputs would be great. dont use svideo at all, component is always nice too. but mostly, ill have a satelite box running to it via HDMI, a xbox 360 running to the tv through component and optical to the receiver, and a ps3 running through HDMI to the tv and optical to the receiver. this way i dont always have to have my home theater on. Im kinda just stuck with the ONKYO, DENON, and maybe the HK. For the money, not sure which one is better than the next. the onkyo 605 has 90x7, HDMI 1.3 which is nice,2 optical and 2 HDMI. ahhhhhh!! i know im being a pain with all these questions, just stick with me youthman and james. lol
  22. what if I extended my budget to lets say $550, what good recivers with the right amount of power could I get? And basically you guys would say no to the sony dg910? I also would like to throw in, that i need a receiver with a decent amount of digital optical inputs if possible. thanks. what about the denon 788? yamaha?
  23. actually youthman, i can go two different ways, the salesman said i could go with the RB-61 for 100 bucks more instead of the RB-51s. But are you thinking I would be more pleased with the RF-62s? thanks again also the onkyo receivers you recommended, they are not $400, THEY are $279 and $299!!!!!!!!! awesome thanks
  24. well i wasnt looking to go overboard with a receiver. I had looked into two sony receivers, the 810 and the 910. they both are around 300-450. I really wasnt looking to spend $700-$1000 on just a receiver. something with 100 watts or more a channel i suppose, but then again not sure. thanks.
