  1. I currently have a Crate, and don't really care for it. Since the LaScalas are very effecient, I want something "quiet". Also, the Crate has no low end, very thin sounding. I've (sorta) narrowed it to 3 models: Behringer PMX2000 Yamaha EMX88S Mackie 808S If you know of another brand/model that you could recommend, please let me know. Any and all opinions are welcome. Thanks, Tony
  2. Q-man, I remember checking on the price some time ago, and was shocked at the price. I thought, "This can't be right". But I purchased some. I know others that have purchased as well. They went down on some parts and up on others. Tony
  3. You can buy the K401 lens brand new from Klipsch for $49.00 each. Most seem to prefer the 401 over the 400. Tony
  4. The only Klipsch Heritage speaker that I've purchased used is the Cornwall (discontinued). (Not counting the Pro line) Everything else is brand new... Klipschorns, Bells, LaScalas, Heresys. There is a market for this line! Tony
  5. I posted this in the Commercial Audio section, but it got so little exposure I thought I'd post it here. I'm looking for a MWM 1900 bass bin. Black with aluminum trim and twin K-43's. Also, any cabinets to the MCM 1900 setup. Any ideas about who might have items like this? These are few and far between on Ebay. Tony
  6. Q-Man, I know there are some other good speakers out there, but I'm on a quest. I heard the Jubilee in Feb. 2001 at the Klipsch "get together". It is very, very impressive! The thing that sticks in my mind is how tight the bass was. It's a shame that Klipsch is just sitting on such a great product. Tony
  7. The Jubilee is an entirely different animal than the 3-way Klipschorn. I don't want an "upgraded" Klipschorn. I want the Jubilee, and I'm willing to pay for it! Tony
  8. I just want to hear (from Klipsch) that there's still a chance it will be produced in my lifetime. Tony
  9. I'm looking for a MWM 1900 bass bin. Black with aluminum trim and twin K-43's. Also, any cabinets to the MCM setup. Any ideas about who might have items like this? These are few and far between on Ebay. Tony
  10. I agree. I believe there is a market for this. Let's recover some of that R&D and put this thing out there. Tony
  11. I have multiple Heritage speakers and believe me, the quality is a lot better than the newer lines. I have no doubt PWK was more concerned with quality than production numbers. Tony
  12. I want the PWK version with that beautiful wooden horn on top. Tony
  13. "When was the last time you bought a new set of Heritage from Klipsch instead of eBay?" You just about have to buy Heritage from Ebay. It's like pulling teeth to buy a new set of Heritage from Klipsch. If they'll ever produce the Jubilee, I'm in for a pair. Tony
  14. Just the fact that there are so many replies to this thread says something. Keep it coming guys. We have the beginnings of a grass roots campaign! Tony
  15. Oh, I'm sure there was music he didn't care for, but he never cut it short that I saw. He was very hospitable. Tony
  16. BobG, Thank You for the response. Still, I find it hard to believe there's no way to sell such products here in the U.S. that have such a loyal following. Tony
  17. I remember one time when the charter members of the fan club met at the factory theater room. Mr. Paul was in the back listening to all of our music that we had brought along. When a piece of music came on that he really liked, he'd lean his head back, eyes closed, and just enjoy the music. I also remember being at his house several times when someone would want to play a CD on His system. All types of music were played and I don't ever recall a song being "cut short" because it wasn't the right type of music. This guy was one of a kind! Tony
  18. His taste in music was varied, but he really loved Symphony, and Marching Band music. I've heard all types of music on his sound system and he payed attention to all of it. Tony
  19. Not to mention you can buy it cheaper brand new than on those Ebay auctions. Tony
  20. Klipsch Promotes 31-year Industry Veteran Bob Gassel To Business Team Manager of International Operations Perhaps Bob is a bit busy with his new position. Tony
  21. Surely someone from Klipsch will be good enough to update us. Anyone... Anyone at all? Tony
  22. Maron, Sadly, I think you may be right. Tony
  23. I want to know the "status" of the home version. It's been almost 3 years since I first saw it. At the time, it looked like it was about ready for production. It would be a shame if the last project that PWK worked on was never to be produced. Tony
  24. I wonder if we could get an "official" statement from one of the Moderators at Klipsch concerning the status of the Jubilee? I first saw/heard this project in Feburary, 2001 with the other charter members of the Klipsch fan club. Thanks, Tony
