Just bought some KLF-10's (almost stole em' at 550 dollars for a pair). But I was wondering if there was a damping material I could put on the back of the horn? has anyone here ever done this before? Was it worth it?

I would check out the decware zen, its a SET amp, decware.com. From what i've heard it will blow away 2 & 3000 dollar SS amps.

what is your price range? I recently bought the yamaha RX-V596 for 350 from crazyeddie.com, it can drive my klf 10's easily, You could get the 496 for 275, which should be able to effortlessly drive the sf-1s (the only difference beetween the 496 and 596 are the 496 is its 70 wpc instead of 100 which is conservatively rated)

the SF-2's have a upper fr of 20khz, I haven't heard of a speaker with a higher FR then 30khz. The average man of 30+ years old cannot hear above 15khz anyway.

What are the differences in the types of tweeter material used? (titanium, mylar, cloth, silk) Can someone tell me a site with this on it?

Has anyone performed any mods on the ksw 10? Would blocking the port tupe or adding foam increase upper bass?
