  1. move the subs next to each other and pick up 3 DB! The best part its free.
  2. Youthman that is awesome. I have done the same thing.[] Sometimes salesmen get pissed because they know you cant buy them but hey we should be able to demo as much as we want.
  3. You will love your RF 83'S no doubt. The price you paid is a steal. I paid 1700 for my set when I bought them and they were worth every penny. So at 800.00 you stole them. I would bet to say you could use them for 2 years and get all your money back. I went with the JTR because I have a dedicated theater room so Im not concerned with how they look. When im in there it is pitch black so you cant see a thing. Pro Audio Speakers have better components but their case look bad. Lemon Pledge on the case really make these look awesome. []
  4. I owned the 83's and many more Klipsch speakers. They are a pretty looking speaker no doubt but ummmm I sold mine for a reason.
  5. If you think the RF 83 sound nice locate someone with a JTR Triple 12 setup. I just got mine and OMGOSH
  6. Thanks guys. In the beginning it wasnt supposed to get as intense and expensive. But you know how we can make a case that we deserve it. lol. I will post new pics once the latest upgrades are complete. The dual Danley DTS 10 subs are amazing.
  7. Heres a few pics of my Theater. JVC RS 35 Projector ( had the RS 20 and the RS 2 before that) Dalite Cosmopoliton electric 55 x 132 2.40 aspect ratio 1.3 gain Panamorph UH480 Anamorphic Lens Dennon 4308CI AVR OPPO 83 Blueray Player Dual Danley DTS-10 SUBS ( SOLD TWO JL AUDIO FATHOM F113) Crest Pro 9200 AMP Klipsch RF-83 LF RF (soon to be replaced by JTR Triple 12 HT 2010) JTR Triple 12 for Center Channel (sold Klipsch RC-64) 4 Klipsch RS-64 Surrounds ( soon to be replaced by 4 JTR Triple 8 HT 2010)
  8. I had the RF 83 system and it sounded great. All except for the sub that is.
  9. why make a post like this if you cant afford either one? I own the Fathom and have the Klipsch RF-83 system except for the sub. Why would I pay double for the Fathom over the RT-12D? Because the RT-12D didnt do enough for me. Now take a man that never has heard the Fathom and he would be happy. Not me though.
  10. Audiogon it and buy the JL Audio F113...It will make you forget all about the rt.
  11. 105 db? That is what I mean it is 105 db of mid bass compared to the FATHOM f113. The Fathom has floor shaking, couch shaking, light blowing power. The Klipsch is loud and thts about it when compared. I will not argue any more. Go to a local dealer and compare for yourself.
  12. you are an employee of Klipsch right? Non biased? By the way where are the " Best subwoofer awards for this turd from Klipsch" I do not know of anyone with a serios system out here that has to run out and buy a Klpisch sub to complete his system. However there are many many People out here including me who owns a Klipsch system who bought the Fathom . Ask craigsub to demo it. You might get slapped.[|-)]
  13. Look like I said before I own the RF- 83 COMPLETE SYSTEM with 2 sets of the surrounds. I did not buy the rt-12d after the demo. It would shake a damn thing in the room. The Jl F113 on the otherhand will make your neighbors think it is thundering outside. Go demo a F113 and put the Klipsch on Videogon!
