My intension is to turn my garage 23' x 22' into a HT room using the other half of my epuipment. Which includes 4 La Scalas and 5 Hersey II's. I was going to use my down stairs room, but a center beam throws everything off and it's not quite square or rectangular like the garage. any info in the process of this task would be greatly appreciated. John, I'll try the Lascalas in the corners and Heresey II's as side surrounds. My DSP A-1 Amp has terminals for dual centers, would having two Heresey II's for center be better than one? (The more the better thinking) When you say center rear do you mean center surround, because I don't believe I have that capability?. I'll take a look at the Aragon Soundstage and 8008 Amps. What kind of spes's on amps in general should I be seeking? Thanks for your post.

I'm using some Bose stands there about 23" high my Heresey IIs are housed on them, but they don't seem to mind just to let ya know the wieght they can hold and puts it about ear level when sitting. They're solid wood stands no partical.

What happen with the KT-LCR's? I have one and thinking on using it as a rear center channel. Thanks for the tip on the Heresey's, originally I was thinking on hanging them with chains angled at about a 15-30 degree angle, but mounting them like in the picture seems the way to go plus I won't have to drill into them. Didn't you purchase some Heresey's at the factory?

How should I set up my HT System Length ways or Width ways?. Room size is about 28' x 40'. Also would it be better to leave the false ceiling about 8' in hieght or would it be better to remove it and hang some Heresey II's like in a theater???

Why aren't they saying anything about the crossovers? I would think either it is or it isn't a quality upgrade and if it was it's quality the beats the other competition. I've been interested in your crossovers for some time now , but not being blessed by Klipsch has held me back I have four La scalas two are 1990 and the other two are 1998 so as you can see 4 x ALK's crossovers = $$$$. If I'm understanding this right from past post using a coat hanger for speaker wire is just as good of a conductor as silver or copper???? If so, are there other factors to determine like distance/ length of run or oxygen free wire for better follow of signal???? (Man am I confuuuuussed) Reason for questions is that I'm buying a home at the end of March and plan on doing a quality job with parts. Home is 4490 SQ FT. Hello, After reading these post about cross-overs for La Scalas's and caps or something I'm under the impression that I can get better sounding speakers by buying a rebuild kit. What exactly is the difference? will I notice it more in the HT field, music field or both? I use 2 for Centers and 2 for Mains. I am very much interested in this topic. I own four La Scalas with Type AL-3 cross-overs, 2 are 1990 and the other 2 are 1998 if this means any thing.
