Same issue here after installing recent firmware that became available in I believe August. After auto wake up they will not play sound from any source unless I unplug them from the wall, and plug back in. Had originally updated to the EQ firmware (with the USB, and then the app) just fine when I got the speakers last year. Sent in a support ticket and will see what they say.

Hey. My amp in my 4.1s must have got wrecked again for the second time and unfortunately this time the speakers are 6 months out of warranty. So I thought I could buy a reciever (lets say a low end Denon or Yamaha for example) and hook them up to the satellite speakers to provide relatively good sound until I have the money to buy a nice pair of speakers to go with the reciever. Does anyone know if this would work at all? Or work well? I only need to use the satellites for about 4 monts so it doesn't need to be perfect. Thanks for your help, Dan

The 4.1s for 399 CDN, somehow I would have to doubt that! First of all they are 300 USD therefore the exchange rate is approximately 1.5 US to CDN so that would equal somewhere close to 450CDN dollars.

Oh, no I was just wondering where the knob would have to be positioned to get equal volumes from both front and rear speakers. =)

Hi, I have the SB Live 5.1 Platinum card and am getting Power DVD, (I have no decoder card) and I was wondering should I use the soundcard to decode the AC-3 sound or the Power DVD? I would think that the soundcard is the one to use. So in that case what settings do I have to use in Power DVD? Thanks for any advice.

On the control pod the surround knob has a min and max, I was wondering is it at min that the volume is the same for rear and front speakers or is it halfway that the volumes are the same?

Well, I am waiting for the 4.1s to come out and I live in Canada. Since the 4.1s will only be available from the Klipsch website for the first while and they do not ship to Canada it means I and every other Canadian who wants a set are basically left out in the cold so to speak.
