Does Alabama deserve to be in the CFP after losing their Heisman candidate QB?

Good question. IF Alabama goes undefeated the rest of the season they will have one loss to the #1 team in the country by 5 points. Based on that, isn't Alabama likely one of the 4 best? If the Tide doesn't make the playoffs this year it will likely mark the end of a dynasty of sorts. You see, Bama has never NOT been in the playoffs!

So was that the first 7 game WS that the visiting team won all the games? Weird.

YES! Crazy. We all thought the Astros had it under control after winning those first games!

  3. We had that same interference call on our baseball team. After a bunt, a right handed batter would have to make a real effort to even get in that running lane. Running in a straight line will result in you staying in the infield and therefore subject to that call.

  4. I installed a tankless at my dads place. What a pain in the a$$. Learned the hard way that you really need to treat water before it gets to heater because of scale. This is of course additional money in plumbing and scale inhibitor that will need a new cartridge every 6 months to a year. A typical tank type hot water heater catches the scale in the tank. A tankless does not have this benefit and the scale attaches to the heater and all the hot water side of the plumbing in your house.

  5. I would suggest being patient and waiting for a Jeep that is closer to you if possible. You won't be under the gun so much to buy it. Rhino is very good at hiding imperfections in the body work such as rust. That's bad if you're buying, good if you're selling. I don't like that or "tread bright" attached to the  corners and door bottoms of the Jeep. Who knows what's under that?

  6. We have a 97 model. TJs are notorious for cracked exhaust manifolds. We bought one with the 4.0 L straight 6 and manual 5 speed. It had a bad universal joint, cracked exhaust manifold, bad brakes, bad top, and worn out transmission sychronizers and  tires for a reasonable $3,300.00. I've repaired all that (less synchros) and its been real good now for several years. Lay under it, look at the bottom side of the trans, transfer case, engine. Look for leaks, cracks, or damage to these expensive parts. People abuse these things.  Jeeps are fun to drive around the house or at the beach or to a nearby lake. Not something I want to drive for hours.

  7. I saw Elton 10 years ago in concert and had seats at the piano. Best seats I've ever had for any show. Vocal range and tone were WAY down from the 70s made "Yellow Brick Road". What will you get in 2019 with Elton at 72 years of age???  No Way at those ticket prices IMHO. Saw Santana twice over many years too, same problem. Getting old SUX for listeners too.

    Do you partake in photography?

Yes! This thread is full of photos I have taken over the years. Check them out! I mostly use a Canon 5D MkIII body and I use those same two lenses you mention for a lot of my photos. Mine are probably older versions as I have had them for quite a while. I do like that 400mm L 5.6 lens for daytime baseball. Most of my pictures are sports related. Thanks for sharing your gear setup. Here is one I took the other day.
