I'm pretty sure XBR 9 is the present top dog with Sony. But don't think your buying the latest and greatest because that stuff hasn't gotten to outlets yet. Did you know that 2160p is on the way? If I were shopping today, I would strongly consider an LED over the older tech LCD.

First off, I drive a 1Ton Chevy van with the same motor. I have never had a problem with it being too cold and all kinds of trouble keeping it down to 195 !
Engine too cold at 165 F. You have a 195 stat and it should be close to that. A simple contact or IR thermometer can verify actual engine temp. Try another temp. measuring method and find out your real temperature. Water pump problems are indicated by a motor thats TOO HOT not too cold.
Is the thermostat installed backwards?
Your air handler is controlled by vacuum. These van type vehicles are prone to get hot and cut these vacuum lines. This will make the air handler not work properly and therefore not deliver heating/cooling air to the cabin. Inspect the air handler control vacuum line from the carb to the air handler control in your dash.

I really enjoy my Heresys. That said a guy down the road has a pair of KP 301s for sale. Is that an upgrade to my present speakers?

I was saying that if Toby had played for SC then he would of won the Heisman. The just seem to get all the exposure.

Toby had a great year. If your not Southern Cal. its hard to win anything in the PAC-10. But you know that right? Fun to see Stanford beat SC again and finish ahead of them in the final standings this year. What's up with Pete? He getting tired of all this?

Tebow has a great will to win. He won alot of games in the toughest conference in the US. He should get a chance in the NFL and I hope he does well.
Toby Gearhart had a great year with alot of yards and touchdowns. Problem was poor exposure. Too bad he didn't play in the SEC against tougher competition. Look at Stanfords record vs Alabama's undefeated season this year, home of your Heisman winner.

My question was related more to high freq. generation in speakers. I just don't think 18K sounds are getting noticed if you can only hear 12K for instance. How can they be?
For us that cannot hear high frequencies, I suspect clarity and quality in your sound still important. I'm not suggesting we all bail out on quality audio and buy jam boxes.
As for me, I've been listening to active 2ways with JBL 2441s on the top half and I haven't missed a thing with this setup vs speakers that reach 20K+ in my collection around here. I probably haven't heard that stuff in a long time.

Dave, sorry to hear about the analog inputs crapping out. As you indicated, the ybrid nature of it might make troubleshooting tough.
I've been recording album tracks to RTR lately and really enjoy listening that way. So for me, that machine is beyond vinvyl at the moment.

After watching Colt McCoy throw two quick picks tonight in the Texas/Nebraska game I'm thinking Mark Ingram of Alabama could win the Heisman to boot! He had right at 200 all purpose yards and 3 TDs today. What a year for the tide of all this comes to fruition.

Knowing that the division was already in hand Childress wanted to pull Brett from the game when it was still 7-6 Vikes at the end of the 3rd. So they had a "heated" discussion over it and the Panthers pumped in 20 during the 4th. I think it's safe to say the Vikings weren't exactly into the game.
