Is there really any comparison of quality ? New technology vs old and all that ??? My listening arena includes ,Count Basie,Quincy Jones,Miles,Beatles,Prince,Springstein,Boss Skaggs,Tina Turner,Boyz to Men and so on

I am origional Bose/JBL guy.Saw and add for some 5.5 s Listened to them and was hooked.
