  1. mOOn!

My first concert was the mighty VAN HALEN in January 1984 OMG!

Check out www.vhnd.net another Van Halen site.

I've been tooling around the idea to make a Frankinstrat replica for the past year.

I'd rather see Dave behind the wheel but all I want is to see Eddie wail!

Bet they could fill a stadium or two instead of the House of Blues here in Orlando when they toured for that suck*** Van Halen III release.

  2. Since I never had the chance to hear the RS-7 or the KSP-6 I went the route of KLF 30's for the front and rear duty. If space is a issue folks say the RS-7 should fill in nicely. Once we get the house built I'll toss in a set of RS-7 for side duty if I fold and go the route of THX.

This is subjective though. You'll find two camps here WDST VS Direct Radiating. Bottom line it's your room, your budget, and your ears.

Hope some others chime in here.

  3. Two-way system using one 1" (2.54cm) magnetically shielded, polymer dome compression driver tweeter with a Exponential cone and two 6.5" (16.51cm) magnetically sheilded, poly cone woofers.

    The word according to KLIPSCH.

Call 1-800-KLIPSCH and ask for parts maybe Bucking Magnets would be the solution. Even though they are shielded.

I once had the KV-3 and didn't have a problem with distortion to the picture.

For damage of the picture tube I'm no expert but I'd lean to saying yes and would remove the center until a solution is generated. Though tacky you could try elevating the speaker with books or some other device to distance the magnets from the picture tube.

  4. She is very gear compliant though she has an issue with the amount of subs I want to have. The deal is she gets a big kitchen I get the bonus room for HT!9.gif9.gif9.gif

Get this, at the hall out on the patio mounted on the walls were KLIPSCH outdoor speakers! I thought that was kinda neat. I wonder if my wife put that in the contract2.gif

  5. Hey folks been away for about a month got married to my wonderful girlfriend Christine we've been together about six years.

We spent some time in Las Vegas & San Diego (just missed the fires) then cruised to Ft Lauderdale (14 day) Trans Canal.

    The Panama Canal was fasinating.

    Figured I'd toot my horn!16.gif

I know the Sound Advice on Sand Lake carries all three of the Martin Logan subs Decent,Depth and the Grotto. Heard the Decent and wondered if the sub was going to interfere with the structural dynamics of the building 9.gif

Maybe if Ed would produce something more then excuses he would be up towards the top of list.

I guess he's no longer inventive or just burnt out. Look at VH3 that album tanked and so did his career!
