  1. Both speakers are in working condition. Cosmetically, very good with grilles intact. Pick-up only in Reno/Tahoe area. PayPal preferred. Price: $375/pair
  2. Have a pair of original, Klipsch RF52 product boxes for free... just pay for shipping from 96161. These speakers were doubled boxed, so I also have the shipping boxes. I believe I have all the packing material, too.
  3. SOLD Upgraded and am selling my Epik Empire. It's in excellent working and cosmetic condition. Grills were removed for purposes of photo-taking. I am the second owner, having purchased it last January. I believe the sub is about 2-1/2 years old. From what I gather, it has the latest version amp. Pick-up is an option (Lake Tahoe area). Estimate shipping at $100. PayPal only. SOLD .
  4. MC. The current BB website does NOT have the same content I was viewing a few days ago when I looked. There's no way I could miss that big, honkin' Klipsch picture/logo on the search results page. About 10 days ago there were listings for Reference and F3 models which I no longer see.
  5. (Yeah, right, guys. I'm making all this up to irk you all. Give me a break.) In the Reno BB, there are NO KLIPSCH ANYWHERE in the Magnolia department. Nothing. Nada, Zip. Zilch. And the BB website too has NO KLIPSCH. Coincidence? Hmmmmm.... Yeah, it's possible the salesperson was exaggerating when she mentioned Wal-Mart specifically. The point she was making, however, is that Magnolia will no longer carry them and the feeling was Klipsch was going "mainstream", mass market.
  6. According to the salesperson I spoke with, we should soon expect to see Klipsch in Wal-Marts, et al. And, if that's the case, their "high-end, premium" status would also go the way of Blue Light Specials. Apparently, Magnolia wants to maintain their image of carrying only high-end equipment, hence, their phase out of Klipsch. Too bad because it's getting difficult to audition speakers with so much to choose from. Reminds of the early days of stereo where the idea of a listening room was just a dream, and speaker listening was a chance event.
  7. So, I popped into my local Best Buy and couldn't find any Klipsch in the Magolia Theater section. Apparently Magnolia is phasing out Klipsch. Can this be true? Bummer. However, clearance sales for Klipsch, so I was told, should be around the corner.
  8. Zaskar. You've a PM. mbr311: The RC-64 is a monster! I'd have to add a room just for the center. BTW: Thanks for all your input.
  9. I've got an RC-35 but was wondering if there's anything to gain (clarity-wise) to upgrading to the 52 or 62 centers? My 61-year-old ears ain't what they used to be so if it meant clearer dialogue I would make the switch. I realize the subjective nature of the question, but does anyone have any experience with this situation?
  10. Zaskar. Great price on the 62. I think, though, the timing is bad. (I really should wait and see how the 35 works with the RF-52s.) [ I checked eBay but didn't see a 62 for that price.]
  11. BTW Bill H. I forgot to ask. In your opinion, then, is the RC-62 a bit smoother than the 35s? I've not heard the 62 and was wondering what the sonic differences might be. Thx.
  12. I'm planning to stay pat for awhile and see what it sounds like. This is more a curiosity thing. Thanks for your input. I'll let you know if I do change it out.
  13. I've an RC-35 and will soon be receiving RF-52s. Just wondering if there's a big difference between the RC35 and RC62? If so, is it possible to "convert" the 35 to a "faux" 62 by changing out the tweeter and crossover? Are the mounting holes for the two tweeters the same?
  14. I saw those and even put the 25s on my Watch List. Don't know how this will play out but I may have to sell my current set-up (Axioms) before moving on the Klipsch. We shall see ... Thanks loads for keeping an eye out!
