I am looking into replacing my original TYPE AL crossovers on my La Scalas. I was wondering which to get, the TYPE A, TYPE AA, or TYPE AL 3 from Crites Also, a few friends have strongly suggested in buying the TYPE A 4500hz with the CT125 tweeters from Crites. Anyone use these in their la scalas? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, a pair of KG 4.2 placed horizontal. but I need to replace them with something better, because I cannot hear them AT ALL when the La Scalas are playing.

Thanks for all the help. Also, would it be okay to have a glass made to size for the top of the speakers? I just want to protect the top of them as much as possible.

Hi, I just picked these LS from CL over the weekend. They are being powered by a Yamaha CR 420 receiver and NAD 1020 amp. They sound amazing low.. but the higher it gets, the loss in quality shows. Is there any suggestions on what I should use to power these speakers. Or is my equipment fine and I should change the caps/crossovers?

I love them! And that's an understatement. I've been waiting years upon years to acquire a pair of La Scalas.. so I'm ecstatic right now. Thanks for letting me know the year.. I wasn't even born when my pair was made. Lol. I'll post more photos when I'm done rearranging my set up. Thanks again guys

Hi, I just purchased a pair of La Scalas, unstained birch.. the serial # is sequential, 2OT809, 2OT810 I was wondering what year are these from? I will post photos in a little while.
