  1. i am about to add km6's as my rear, corner speakers for 2 reasons: 1, most of the material i have been reading has pushed me in that direction, with an eye toward rs-3's or ksp-s6's or kt-ds' etc as side surrounds when i upgrade my receiver; 2, they were a GREAT deal! plus they match my front kg5.5's. we'll see how it all turns out. david
  2. hi, i have an onkyo 575x that goes very well with my kg5.5's and kt-lcr. i'm not sure what compatability problems may exist, but i have loved every minute of listening over the past few months since i upgraded to the klipsch speakers. now, granted, they were a pretty big upgrade from my old sony speakers, so it may just be a comparison issue that makes me love the sound. anyway, like they always say - at least on THIS board - let your own ears decide. david
  3. ok, i was wondering if it possible, or even advisable, to connect the same speakers to 2 different receivers at the same time? i have kg5.5's and have been given a marantz 2230 receiver and marantz 6100 turntable. i am already using the 5.5's with my onkyo 575x, but would like to also use them with the marantz set-up. is there a way? thanks
  4. speaking of onkyo, i have an onkyo 575x that does an excellent job with my kg5.5's and kt-lcr speakers. don't know about customer service, because i haven't needed to call them (knock on wood). i use 5 channel stereo fairly often, mostly so i can hear the music accross the house or outside (gotta get those B speakers set up). it sounds very solid. the remote was a big plus too. learned everything my other remotes did, so now we just use the one. anyway, my 2 cents.
  5. i just bought a demo model of the kt-lcr at a local audio shop/authorized klipsch dealer. i could find no info on it here, nor could i find it listed when i went to register it for the warranty. no manual listed either. any info would be appreciated. oh, and i paid a cool 199.99 - cool, if it's a good price. david
  6. well, i just bought a demo model of the kt-lcr center from hooper's audio - i haven't even hooked it up yet, because it has nowhere to sit! the manual recommends it sit vertically instead of horizontal. any ideas about that? i'm gonna try it horizontally anyway. fingers are crossed that it sounds as good as it looks. david
  7. thank you both for the responses - i definitely want a center more geared to HT. and so i shall seek out the ksp c6 or the klf c7. as well as the rs-3 or ksp s6. thanks david
  8. well, sort of along the same lines as this topic, i also have kg 5.5's and was planning on getting the rc-3 based on the matching chart...however, i was doing some reading over the past few days and now have 2 others in mind: ksp c6 and klf-c7. physical size is not that much of a problem, price and availability may be. i can swing the price of the klf-c7 if i wait a week or two longer, the c6 seems to be a bit hard to find. on a similar note, the surrounds. also planned on buying the rs-3's based on the chart, but now am considering ksp s6 or maybe kg3.5's (because i can get a pair cheaper than the rs-3's). i watch a lot of movie in dd and dts, the 5.5's and my sub handle all of my stereo needs. i've thrown a lot out, but any input would be appreciated. thanks david
