  1. For some reason I keep wanting to get a RSW-15 sub to go with this setup. I would like to keep it all Klipsch, and that subwoofer seems like it would be a good match that Klipsch makes for the Belles. I hear it is a very musical sub, and for HT, there is better?

  2. I was going to ask that next! I think they were built around 1991, s/n 10527761

The crossovers appear to be ok, as in nothing looks swollen or leaking, caps look ok. Being that they are now 20 years old, one can not go by just looks alone. I think the next thing in order, other then a sub, is to rebuild or just replace the crossovers. Bob Crites?

  3. Well I want the sub anyways, so I'm gona keep looking for it. I hope a forum member gets back to me on that sub.

I wouldn't ever alter these belles like that, noo way! I just wonder if the Belles were in a different room, if they would have the bass I'm looking for?

Is there anyone in central fl with some cornscallas??!! I would like to see how those sound, since I'm thinking I may want to try making some, but I would miss the tight bass response I get with the belles.

  4. Ever since I upgraded from my KLF-30's to the Belles, I felt I have been missing something,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bass.

Now I love how the Belles sound! The soundstage it has and the top end, blows me away! Thats why I got them! I even love the fast hard bass it provides, but I need more..I feel myself going to my bedroom setup more to listen to 2 channel now. I dont like this.

I thought maybe I needed more power, so I recently added a amp to the mix. I do admit it has helped out alot, but not so much in the boom boom department.

OK so here is the current setup, mind you it does do double duty, movies and music,

Belle mains, KLF-C7 center, RX-V1500 with matching 5 disc dvd player (forget model number), mitsubishi DA-A15DC to power the belles, sub12 and xw300d for the low end.

I use the sub12 to help with the lower end, but it doesnt quite sound right for music. I am looking at getting RSW-15 sub, hopefully soon.

So my question is, should I add the sub and be happy, or get some Klipschorns!! I know with the horns, its really sensitive to room placement. Which for now would only have one corner, I would have to make a false corner for the right side.

Kinda torn, looking for help. I wonder if room placement would make a huge difference???

  5. I really want an RSW-15, but its hard to find one.

I found an RSW-12 that may keep me happy for now. It would be replacing my SUB12, which is a good sub as well. Im just looking to upgrade!

So this RSW-12 has no price, but owner says make an offer. What should I offer? It looks to be in good shape.

  6. I know this is the wrong forum, but I think there is some dodge lovers here.

I've been looking for a 07-09 Chevy crew cab with a diesel for a while, and have found a few I almost want.(very anal) So at the lot where I saw my 111th Chevy, I saw this HUGE dodge! Now mind you I am and always will be a die hard GM guy, but when I saw this mega cab, I was impressed! 2007 dodge RAM mega cab with the 6.7 diesel 60000 miles and really clean. Fully loaded and wayy cheaper then a comparable Chevy.

I must say the interior is huge! Love it! But not big on the look of the interior or body, but wow it was very comfy and big! Plus $10,000 under blue book.

So who owns one or has heard about this truck? Any advice guys?

  7. Earlier someone said to the effect that if you really want to help Klipsch, go out and buy new Klipsch speakers, and stop doing DIY stuff.

I'm sorry but I am sure that the parts department at Klipsch earns its keep. Nothing wrong with supporting your products, or else someone else will. In my eyes thats awesome, shows how much a company stands behind their product.

  8. I was thinking poor Amy too! There seems like lately there has been a lot of spamers! Maybe there could be a pre-approval she could do, before you can be a member. I know some sites do that. It couldn't be that more much work? Kinda like a background check before you can join our group!

  9. There is a pair of epic, look like 1's for sale here in orlando on craigslist. How is the sound out of these? The guy wants $100. I may just go get them for that cheap. Also the guy said that one of the speaker needs paint on the top.

  10. I saw a pair of white Klipsch speakers in the Jimmy Johns on Kirkman in orlando. I was surprised at how good the sound was, so I had to look for the speakers in the place. They look like the white outdoor speakers, maybe some aw model? Anyways I enjoyed my sub and will deff go back again!
