  1. I'm not too surprised that the co. doesn't maintain a full showroom of any of its lines

We actually do have a full showroom now - where the cafeteria used to be.

I am interested in checking out some K-horns. Does anyone know where I can hear some in the central Indiana area?

Please contact our sales rep for Indiana to set up a demo - Mark Hittle 317-860-8779

Thanks Amy....I will contact him to set something up.

  2. Very nice looking congratulations.

Awsome billy. Your in heaven right now :)

From one Billy to another, Awesome!

Great look in your HT! Well done on hiding wiring and nice trim job around the mount!

I imagine it is quite the immersive experience?

Don't tell anybody I asked (a lot of naysayers out there), but how does the projected 3D look? (Yes, I am one of the few who likes 3D once in a while for movies or gaming.)

Now that Panasonic quit making plasmas, think I will make the jump too to a projector on my next HT upgrade. I will try to locate your questions thread. (Or did you get all of your answers through pm/email?)

    Congrats!

    Billy

    Thank you.....

The 3-D is incredible and my first in home experience. The glasses that came with the PJ are rechargeable RF and pair to the PJ. My daughter and I watched Gravity and it brought you into the film as if you were actually there. I've seen a few 3d movies at the theater but was never that impressed but when you have things floating at and around you in your own home, the wow factor (for me anyways) really kicks in.

I didn't start a question thread Rhetor. Just a lot of reading, reviews and direct questions. Here's one of the reviews for the projector I chose.

Very nice setup you have there. I have the Epson 6010 and love it.

  3. 3d on a giant screen in your home is something everyone in this hobby should experience. In the theater its just a gimmick. But set up right at home on a projector with a big screen is the next level of ht. I had no love for 3d tell i saw it done right. Now its the ultimate movie experience imo.

I agree with you on the 3D on the giant screen in your home I never was into it until I got my projector set up in my HT.

  4. My offer was based on seeing them and seeing the imperfections. The front of the one he does not have pictured has an obvious damage spot about 1/2 the size of a dime that goes through the veneer and the top of the same one has scars and scratches. Also, around the bottom of the top hats there is noticeable veneer damage. All the noticeable damage considered I felt $2k was a fair offer. The ebay listings you cited look GREAT! These are not in as good of condition.

Thanks for the info. They are located in my hometown. I was thinking of taking a look at them next time I was in Central AR.
