yeah, I also have 4.1 and after a few hours the back panel of the sub will become hot. Is it normal for all 4.1 users or my sub is defective, but so far I have no problem with the speakers.

Mine is really really loud and the sub can shake my room and sometimes it wakes my roommate!!! ROCK ON!!!

Nope, I never heard of it. Sorry, I cannot give any comment about your soundcard, but since It is only 16 bit, I think you need to change your card.

It actually depends on your soundcard right now. If it was old, I could say that you need to buy a new soundcard.

My roomate have A bose Lifestyle II or something, I dont remember. He was so proud with his bose. After my Klipsch 4.1 came, and I want to try it in his room and he was really ammmaazzeeedd with Klipsch 4.1. One of the major difference in sub is the when I play drum sound from a CD, Bose's Sub cannot deliver clear sound and my klipcsh was able to kick the bass. BOSE sucks!!!

I got my klipsch about 2 weeks ago and it sounds really loud my main volume in the klipsch speaker never go up to 12 o'clock and the sub never more than 10'clock before I changed my soundcard the sound produced was not this loud, before I used diamond MX 400. Now, I am using SB!live
