I have veneered my heresys in black walnut and now I am ready to finish them,I know blo is standard klipsch finish but I would rather have a long lasting finish without the upkeep I was thinking about a stain + wipe on poly or tung oil,I am looking for something to really bring out the walnut any suggestions on colors of stain that I should try? Also what kind of glue can I use to reattach the velcro back on the front of the speaker,I had to remove them to paint the front.

  9. One of my heresys wouldn't play unless I unhooked the midrange, caused the receiver to go into protection mode the resistance read .5 ohm. I received my kv55 midrange diaphram from Bob Crities and was going to check resistance of my old one against the new one before installing, checked out the same, put everything back together tightened a couple of crossover screws and now it plays fine I guess something got moved during shipping. Thanks for all the replies and Bob Crities for taking the repair kit back, guess you never know. The cornwalls and herseys really rock when played together Beautiful klipsch sound
  10. Found the problem, the k55 midrange speaker is blown, can I get this from klipsch or do I have to get this from ebay?
