forget klipsch image and custom series until they found durable parts will actually last longer than 3 months. what i suggested you do is go to westone website and type in um2 in the search and pay 280 dollar for the earbuds because they have much more durable construction and they customer support is way better and soundwise this item beat triple10vi and se530/535. the cable is very high quality listen klipsch you make the best single armature out right now but this stuff strain relief is not durable as advertised please can you found a way for a more durable strain relief then maybe you can take down westone and shure or ultimate ear with they bad customer support they are own by logitech i will not buying anything they have logitech on it. because they don't know sound quality at all.

what type music do you listen to? and what loudspeaker brand do you prefer definitive tech or klipsch?

right now i have image s4 if buy i the klipsch image x5 will i notice a difference with sound quality i prefer go lossess through itunes and play it on the computer and will be loud then the s4 and do you know if the strain relief is better because image s4 strain relief sucks bad.

no. they no difference in sound department it just that s4i have inline remote for apple product and better stuff provide with it. like an extra oval earpiece pair and shirt clip and not some cheap case provide with s4 that a tin case instead a nice magnetic cloth case.hope that helps

i actually have s4 it excellent with lossess format. by the way sennheiser ie8 is not single armature it dynamic driver iem. go look it on sennheiser website. and have you try etymotic er-4?

if you want full range single driver then etymotic is should to better by the way i am not a fan of etymotic because there are no soundstage and little bass and they are uncomfortable. they make a compromise extremely accurately over comfort, soundstage,bass. why do want multiple drive is because they sound better because they a driver assign to a specific frequency thank to great crossover well thank klipsch making exclusive stuff they kill dual driver. plus multiple driver has better bass control.

klipsch make awesome in ear monitor but they not durable. they could found a better wire than we they have using

custom 3 is too hard on bass and put too much in your music just try klipsch image x5 sure they are not as durable as custom series but it comfortable and epic sound for any genre of music

try image x5 from audio advisor or amazon it way better and easier to get a seal
