  1. Has anyone bi-wired a set of RF-3s in a HT environment? I have a set powered by a DENON 3801 and was wondering if its worth bi-wiring them. Thanks
  2. Without knowing the answers to the questions posted earlier its hard to give a recommendation. However, I will tell you my setup: TV - Hitachi 60 HDTV ready Receiver - DENON 3801 Fronts - RF-3 setting on each side of tv 10' in front of listening position (front of speaker even with front of screen) Center - RC-3 setting on top of tv Surrounds - RS-3 connected to surround A on receiver, mounted directly inline with listening position, 7' up on wall. Backs - Infinity 2000.3 connected to surround BACK on receiver, mounted 8' directly behind listening postion, 7' up on wall. Definitive Tech Sub-Woofer. My room is 18 x 24 with high ceiling and the experience is AWESOME. I couldn't be happier. You can save some money by going with the SYNENERGY line vs the REFERENCE line, but everything I've read says to stay with the same line so the speakers are tonally balanced. Good luck....
  3. A couple of questions: 1. You didn't mention center channel, do you have the RC-3? 2. You list two RS-3s, was one a miss type and really the RC-3? or did you get two pairs of RS-3s, one set for surround, one set for back channel? I have a 3801 with the following speakers: RF-3 are 51" apart 10' front of listen post RC-3 sets on top of TV also 10' away RS-3 connected to Surround A, mount directly in line with my listening position 7' up on the wall. A pair of Infinity 2000.3 connected to BACK channel mounted 8' directly behind the listening position. If you haven't setup your system for 6.1 surround, then plan on it, remember the difference between Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Digital? ITs the same difference!! Awesome... I have a different subwoofer so I can't help you there..... Hoped this helped some..
  4. I just got my HT setup Its awesome.... Speakers (RF-3, RC-3, RS-3) Amp DENON 3801 TV Hitachi 60SDX HDTV read. However, I noticed one of the bass drivers has a crimp/crease in the cone. My question is .... should it make any real differnce. The reason for the question is that the speakers were a replacement for a set(not klipsch) that got burned up when part of house caught fire. The insurance adjuster sent them from someplace on the westcoast and the adjuster told me to go through KLIPSCH. Unfortunately, that means shipping them at my expense to KLIPSCH and being without them for 3-4 weeks. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.
