I've read of multyple folks with XPA-1's x2 on the same circuit with no issues so I wouldnt let that determine how many amps you get or whirch one . Just get what you think is going to work best for your system .

Center Channel Options for Klipsch ForteII
TheFactor replied to jmelki's topic in Technical/Restorations
I thought about but they sold for over 700 and thought that was high and another pair I found sold for almost 600 and they weren't as nice so I decided to concentrate on a center to go with my 7 II's -
Just got around to installing the spikes on the feet of my RF7 II's and decided to listen to and watch Return to Forever a live concert in 2008 at Montremx With Chick Corea , Stanley Clark and Lenny White I just picked up from Amazon on a bluray disc. OMG you guys have really got to pick this one up it will really make your Klipsch speakers shine, my 7's sounded so good I felt like I was there . I only listened to it in pure direct and was all I needed the highs were crystal clear and when they did a solo on the drums and bass guitar the bass was so tight and solid i've never heard such accuracy and tight bass from a tower speaker before in my life . You guys real need to pick this one up and enjoy !

LOL Thanks man ! But can you at least pay for shipping ?[] Yes the panels work great there actually GIK 6'' Bass traps and on my back wall are some GIK Elite 4'' acoustic panels . They should actually work better on the front stage and the bass traps in the rear but I tryed them both locations and it seems to sound better with the bass traps up front . I noticed improvement wright when I put them up everything sounded better the highs and the lows . Cant really explain it but there is a difference and I highly reccomend room treatments . I intended on putting more up like corner bass traps and some more Acoustic panels but got side tracked with a amp and new speakers [:$] But im very happy although I am short a 64 II at the moment : ( as you know lol . Heres a pic of my rear panels.

Thanks Folks I guess i'll stick with a 64 II on order .

So getting a Forte II for a center wouldnt be a good match with my new 7II's ? -
Do you guys think they "forte II" would make a good center channel to go with my new RF7'II's ?

I agree my 7's arre smooth as silk and listen to them for hours also and there very soothing even more then my Paradigm Studios were !

I almost went with a couple of XPA-1's but instead upgraded my speakers since I already had a XPA-3 and what a great amp it is . Its funny how different folks here different things when listening to speakers but to me the 7II's didnt sound bright at all when I auditioned them and when I got them home they sounded even better possibly my gear and room acoustics's since im running a couple of GIK bass traps and Elite panels . I think klipsch has a speaker for everyone depending on your taste : )

I have the XPA-3 as mentioned above and it sounds outstanding with my RF7II's and I dont think you can go wrong with either the 5 or the 3 . Another option im considering is going mono blocks to enhance my 2 channel listening maybe 2 upa-1's for my fronts and use my xpa-3 for my center and rears . Theses many different combos that should work great also I Have never tryed this but I heard good things about Emo's b-stock they dont show it on there website but if you call them you can see what they have and they offer good discounts along with full warranty's , just a thought.
