  2. Looking good man !! and those seats look comfy too !!!
  3. I'd try to find a Pioneer 9g plasma unless you have to have 3d . I'd personaly wait a few years until they get everything dialed in with 3d .
  4. Happy belated Thanksgiving Everyone and have a great weekend !!!!
  5. No but I stayed at a Holiday inn.......... and They had RF7II's with a RS64II in the front stage with def tech 450's in the rear , dual SVS subs PB13 Ultra , SVS PB12.5 and all seperates and it sounded outstanding I didnt want to leave[] Oh and I also saved 500 dollars on my car insurance [] Buy you know now that you mention it I would also like to know if anyone else is also running THE RF-7 IIs RC-64 IIs RS-62 IIs and sw-3II ? I bet it does sound wickedly good though knowing Klipsch !
  6. Hey! We wouldn't have it any other way! You're part of this crazy family now and you have a great hobby! Plus a nice setup! Now occasionally some of us might get into arguments on here *cough* *TheFactor* *cough* but in the end it all gets straightened out. LOL. But once again congrats on your purchase and I know you can't wait until you hear it! Not me ...never......[:$][6][*-)][li][]
  7. Much congrats on the 64II !!! Your going to really enjoy it what a great center channel !!
  8. Congratualtions! That beast of a center is going to make a huge difference! And don't feel bad. I just pulled the trigger on the 82s and now the only money I have is holiday shopping money. So no more stuff for me until after the holidays! But congrats again and let us know how much you love it! Nice man congrats on the new 82's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Im sure there wouldnt be any problems running them in the rear . Any chance you'd like to share your authorized Klipsch dealer so others can prosper ? Its not for me I already have my 7II's and my 64II got a great deal and totaly love them by the way and what a performer in every area .
  10. Sweet I might have to check those to !! Yes im very happy with the xpa-3 and xpa-2 combo and really compliments the 7's and 64 . I think im going test out a movie just finished calibrating everything and its sounding pretty wicked .
  11. Cool man !!!! Im so glad your enjoying it [] I knew you would and dont feel bad that was my first and only Bluray concert and I do plan on getting more . Well just finished hooking my XPA-2 That came in today and what a beast im going to do some calibrating and check out a movie and that concert again .. Well thats awesome im really glad that blu is doing the trick it does rock big time !!!
  12. Your Very welcome Tigerman and much deserved !
  13. Those are all excellent points and Automatic Voltage regulation is a nice feature although i've never needed it I always have a nice steady flow of juice my main concern was protection for power spikes and such but it depends on were you live and the conditions I guess but my volts have never varied from 118 to 122 . I have lost power but both my power stations did there job . Apc would be another good suggestion for its upper end models with voltage regulation . I scored a great deal on my Furman I think it was a 1500 dollar unit at the time and when magnolia went under I got it for under 300 dollars on there last day of business : )
  14. I have a Furman and Panamax whitch is basically the same company now and thats what I would reccomend although theres many great companys out there Monster power should be ok imo but I would try to stay in there 300 to 400 dollar price bracket or higher . The thing about monster is your paying for the name and thats why you'd probably want to get there middle to upper price range power centers unless your thinking just powerstrips whitch would be better then nothing .
  15. Looks like he got what was coming to him []
  16. There are many options but what I would do is get either a xpa-3 or a xpa-5 its better to have to much power then not enough you can do more damage pushing your speakers with lack of power causing distortion and those amps are something you can grow into later down the road . Again there are many different options and dont think theres a wrong or wright answer but thats what I would get with your setup , hope that helps .
  17. Hi Vic, I wouldnt bi-wire you probably wont even notice a difference except it will make you feel better[] as far as needing a amp no you dont but you can prosper from one imo it will give you a more dynamic sound and wider sound stage with more detail even at lower volumes . I personally would reccomend Emotiva amps they offer alot of bang for the buck and I love mine . You have a great setup and I honestly beleive a amp will be a great addition for you !
  18. Hopefully it will show up soon im looking forward to your thoughts but I know you'll enjoy it . I just picked up 3 movies yesterday , How to Train your Dragon, Predators and Toy Story 3 got a great deal and couldnt pass it up all 3 blurays for 44 dollars. I'll be testing a movie or so out today I hope and next week my XPA-2 arrives to keep my XPA-3 company and power my 7's so now my pioneer elite 94 avr will only have to do the processing should be a nice combo []
  19. Actually you probably won't like it very much, especially if its an action movie. There's usually substantially less bass in Direct mode due to the minimal amount of signal processing done by the receiver. Its probably better suited for music discs than movies but even then you won't get the impact from the bass drums and other instruments that produce low frequency sounds. It actually is a music BD he referring to, Return To Forever with Chik Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White and Al Di Meola a Jazz concert live at Montremex 2008
  20. Yes at times 50hz sounds a little thick or rich in the LFE area but only sometimes and also im use to listening to speakers set at small for years and these speakers are a different animal. On ext stereo with all speakers on I like 50hz it blends well with my subs but like I said the best for me is 2 ch pure direct for cds and for movies im leaning towards 80hz but its still close I really have to get some more movies under my belt but it sure is a joy testing it out and im very impressed that it sounds so good on both crossover settings and thats whats making it difficult its like splitting hairs lol . But yes My center speaker stand has a angle built in so theres no adjustment but like I said it seems to be the wright angle , For sure when you get that bd try both pure direct and standard dolby digital HD either way your going to love it !!
