Check to see if the card comes with a manufacturer's warranty! My first GTXP (retail) was bad, and I easily replaced it through Guillimot. Man, it's going to be nice to get out of this dorm room so I can attempt to properly place my speakers. I too have my stub about 1' from my feet, but I don't think the bass sounds too bad. Would you guys describe the bass as being "blurry" if it just retardedly loud, with all the notes sounding more or less the same? I have concrete floors (dorm room), so this idea didn't work at all. In fact, it hampered the bass. Concrete doesn't reverb that well compared with a frame house, I guess. ------------------ I hate you, Milkman Dan.

It's funny you mention pumping the treble... I got my 4.1's today, and I think that's the part I enjoy the most, higher-quality and more defined high freq's, rather than just stupidly loud bass. ------------------ I hate you, Milkman Dan.
