The NAD would be great, Anthem 225 is also a great integrated amp.
-
I have been happy with Emotiva...
I blv an XPA-200 would be great, or 2 XPA-100 would be even better.

Looks Awesome

I am the original owner, and I have the original boxes, and paper work.
They are in perfect 10/10 shape.
My location is Indianapolis and would negotiate shipping with price.

OK, I’m looking to part ways with one of my two theater setups. My Reference set up consists of RF-25 towers,
RC-25 center, RS-25 surrounds, and RW-10 sub. Looking to get around 1,200 OBO, What I’m really looking for is
a nice set of Heritage Klipsch to trade for. (La Scala, Cornwall’s ext….) I can send more pics upon request. -
Let me know if you change your mind about shipping...[ap]
I live in Indy and thats just to far of a drive.

Well you can A) Buy the 62 and always wonder what if. "OR" Buy the 82 and never look back.
Just part of the fun..... but Im sure you will love them both.
-
I keep mine 12' apart, and about 22" from the wall, with a slight toe in.
Keep "tinkering" with them you will get them where you want them.
-
no its not grainy, the soundstage of my 63's was amazing like being in the studio as music was being recorded. Not getting that with the 7's ,the sound is just kind of muddled.i loved the the 555 with the 63s the difference between amp and recievers was beyond night and day.The sound was crisp and clean without being harsh or tinny and again the sound stage was just amazing
MUDDLED?
Being banged up as they where.
Make sure the intrernal foam has not fallen off and is blocking the back ports.. -

The Onkyo is an excellent amp, but you're gonna want at least 200 wpc if you wana hear the woofers on the rf-7 ii's really sing. My yamaha puts out 125 wpc but after hooking up my Emotiva xpa-2 that puts out 300 wpc, it was a night and day difference. I don't use my sub for music anymore, and I'll leave it at that =)
I agree...
When Im really jamming I push my XPA2 "purdy" hard. The 7II have a very low impedance dip.
Still don't know why you would be distorting.. thats prob. your source.
-
Is it just me or are the rf-7ii's kind of lacking in the very low end? I'm not one to listen to rap but I listened to this song recently and the bass was fairly weak. EQ'ing the bass only made the speakers distort like crazy.
UMMM NO LOW END AND DISTORT,,,, RF7II
wow I can make the pics on my wall move. I dont even use a sub with music.
you need more power..
room treatment?
location in room?
Low end is crazy good with RF7II

am quoting $2600 for all. is that reasonable and any takers?
Sorry...
But thats not reasonable...
My friend just got a set of rf-82ii L,R, rc-62ii, and rs-52ii for right around 2300 at a local dis. and he got a new rw-12d from new egg for like 300 bucks...
-
I have not listened to the WF-34 but I went shopping with my buddy for some fronts and we looked at the rf-52ii and the rf-62ii. For the extra cash I thought the 62ii sounded much better. The bass and the mids, sounded great. I felt there was more dif. btw the 52ii and 62ii then btw the 62ii and 82ii.
BUT the extra size could be the deal breaker......
-
I have been noticing a few peeps not getting the full benefits of there RF7II. Mostly due to Room treatment. I find it hard to blv that you would be lacking something with them bad boys. I think more info on your room would be helpful. especially b4 you go spending money.
I also notice a big dif. running them at 40hz rather then the typical 80hz.

Looking good...
I see a new prj. in my future

Very Nice.. Like the stand.
its hard to fit that monster C chan. in stands.

Enjoy!!!!
You will love them....

atomanti,
The XPA-200 and UPA-200 would both be great amps, the XDA-2 is a DAC which only takes Digital inputs and the Marantz is an intergrated amp that only takes analog inputs. Both will work It just depends on what you are looking for. You could always go with the XDA-2 and add a stereo pre-amp later down the road.
