  2. Ear, I know you get great prices on your gear, but how much should an RSW10 go for in CDN dollers?

PS: Will the RSW10 keep up with the klipsch RF3's?

  3. Are you guys talking about the JL W7??

EAR, you said you wouldn't spend $1800 on ONE sub? Why not. You have many subs that cost more.

I heard the W7. It it very loud. Sounds only OK.

For the same price, I would go with a Focal.

  4. Cool bedroom HT!

Im also putting together a HT in my small bedroom, so far I have a Sony DVD player, Denon reciever (5600 or 3802) and Klipsch RF3II's.

No center. Will I even need one??

  5. To answer the question,

No I think the 3802 is the best reciever for the money. You really can't do any better. (I don't like the onkyo797, the other reciever that first comes to mind)

mobile homeless, where do you find all this 2ch gear at a price less then $1000 USD?? I have never seen quality 2ch gear in my life. (Only the internet) Can you even buy stuff like that at a store.

(I have seen some SS stuff) SOME

  6. Thanks for your reply(s)

This is quite an upgrade. RCA Boombox - Sony minisystem - Sony minisystem with Klipsch RF3II's - And now Klipsch RF3II's with Denon 5600!!

    All for the bedroom!

  7. Im a high school student with out lots of money. I bought a used Denon 5600. I need to know if I should keep it.

I don't have it in my home yet.

    ---

How will it compair to the HK520, or Denon 2802? I know it has only 5.1 DD and DTS, but that's fine. (It's for the Bedroom.) How will it sound with my Klipsch? Are there any problems with this unit?

    Thanks for any replies

  8. How would it sound though? I wish Klispch would have a pre-amp like this, but a bit bigger and have a few more features. (DTS Neo, and PL2)

  9. The ProMedia DD-5.1 decoder

Could someone use this as a pre-amp? And connect power amps to run their speakers? It looks like it would be a great value. Why would you buy an Outlaw950 when this costs so much less? (Unless this sounds like crap)

Is it as big as most recievers?

  10. YES! You need to put them on. Until I read this, I had them off. Now there on, and make a BIG dif! Cleaner, better bass. THe drivers move more..Well, at least they look like it. Mabey not more, but, but straighter...Can't explain. Try it and see.

  11. Me either. Do you think buying online is worth it though? What if there is something wrong when you get it. You send it back...Woops, wrong address. Now your screwed! cwm33.gif

  12. I read that you can't even here 1%thd unless you play a 1khz sine wave or somehting like that. And I am SURE the outlaw will be better sounding. I also heard that Outlaw will have a new reciver soon.

(If they do, I wonder how long the shipping will take..)cwm12.gif

  13. You should run your DVD, VCR ect directly to the reciever. I find in my bedroom, the DVD player ounds bad (VERY BAD) when using the line outs from the TV.

    -------

I would take a Pioneer over a Kenwood anyday. Now, if power is a problem, the pioneer will crank more then the Onkyo600. Pioneer 811s= 74 WPC, all driven. (err something like that.) Onkyo600=34 wpc, all driven.

Now with klipsch, the QUALITY is more importnat then the QUANTITY.
