  1. Though I have a newer a/v receiver, I simply went to their web site and was able to print out a PDF format manual. Give it a try. 2. I agree with above. You are probably splitting hairs on making all runs the exact same length. For myself, I matched the length for my mains, another matched length for my surrounds, and just ran a 4ft run to my center channel. As far as the under 100ft rule, I have heard both side of the story. I always keep my runs matched and to a minimum on length. 3. Though I am not famliar with your specific speaker wire, and cannot explain how to cut and splice it back together, there are three important factors to consider. 1: Always keep the length of your speaker wire the same length. This is important because it does take longer (milliseconds) for an electrical signal to travel a longer route. Thus you always want each speaker to receieve its infomation at the same time. 2: Avoid excessive cable length. The longer you make a run, the less efficient the system becomes. Simply put, it takes more energy to push signals over a longer distance. You want to always use the minimum amount of length. (Its fine to have slack, just not a ton of excess) 3: Gauge. While some in my opinion go overboard on this subject, avoid using too skinny of wire. Basically, again you don't want to imped the signals by forcing it through too small of wire. I run 12 gauge monster for my mains. Hope that helps some of your concerns. 4. I am wondering if it is worth the expense to bi-wire my main RF-3's and possibly the RC-3 as well. Am I gaining more efficiency from the speakers? Or is the bi-wiring for more accurate sound reproduction? Or both? And, I have heard that good Monster cables will run $125 & up to do one speaker? True? Any feeback I could get would be most appriciated. ------------------ System: RF-3 Mains RC-3 Center SB-1 Surrounds KSW-12 Sub 795A Yamaha A/V Pioneer CD/DVD DV-C503 35" Sony TV Monster Interconnets Monster Speaker Cable
  5. I am getting a buzzing noise from the RC-3's horn. The strange part is that the audio system is not even on. This is happening with only the TV being on. I have the SC-3 on the top of my TV. What is possibly causing this?? ------------------ System: RF-3 Mains RC-3 Center SB-1 Surrounds KSW-12 Sub 795A Yamaha A/V Pioneer CD/DVD DV-C503 35" Sony TV Monster Interconnets Monster Speaker Cable
