  1. I missed that he posted that, Good find and a easy fix for the problem. No adaptors or cards needed. Here is 50' from monoprice.com http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023601&p_id=2982&seq=1&format=2
  2. You can always pick one of these up and it would use USB to your pc. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102032
  3. I really don't think it is the cable length that is creating the buzz. You mentioned that you have it plugged into your headphone jack in the pc, I think this is a 2.5mm jack and I think you would be better off using the speaker out on the back of your pc which I am pretty sure is the same size. If not it is a 3.5 in which case you would need a different adaptor. This is gonna be the best bet for what you have without buying a sound card which would fix the problem also.
  4. Do you have optical out of your pc? That's how I had mine until I switched to HDMI out of the pc.
  5. Don't know if you can hook a external drive right to your avr but I run a 2TB external drive through my pc which is hooked up to my avr via a hdmi cable and I run all my music through media center. We have xbox 360's thoughtout the house and are able to share the drive though the network we have set up so my roomate can run the same musi c off my drive to his system upstairs at the same time I am running it down in my room.
  6. Here is a shot of the new system picked up a Ultimates BK sale yesterday, Loving it.
  7. Newbie here and have been just hanging out until I jumped in feet 1st with the clearance sale that Ultimate has going on right now. Picked up a RC-52 ref II a couple of weeks ago for 250.00 and today picked up a set of RF-82 ref II (600.00 pair) and RS-52 ref II (320.00 pair). I have to stop going there but with these prices I can't stop [:'(] Anyways, I have heard the 82's but took a chance on the RS-52's, Will be hooking it all up tomorrow so I shall hear how it sounds and I am sure I will have alot of questions. Great site and some really really nice systems you all have. Looking forward to talking and listening to you all in the future.
