  1. Thanks. Sorry for the late reply, was on holidays. I purchased it from Future Shop believe it or not, its quite old, probably 7 years old. I had to modify it by cutting one of the front support bars and removing the top glass.
  2. Correct, I have a sub outlet on either side. I also have dedicated power supplies for every power outlet on that wall.
  3. For that price though, I would look at SVS subwooffers way before this one.
  4. I knew they couldn't do without a 15" sub. http://www.klipsch.com/sw-115-subwoofer
  5. So I tried the James Cinema 15 back to back test vs the two SW-112 Klipsch and to my surprise there wasn't much of a difference. The 15 definitley produced a lower tone, but overall the difference wasn't substantial. This tells me I have issues with the room, mainly the concrete floor. I should have put a subfloor in, damnit! I'm going to experiment with raising the subs off the floor, creating a reflection between them and the floor, will keep you posted.
  6. Yes its a concrete floor. I plan on playing around with things, I'll keep the forum posted on my results.
  7. Sounds amazing, but I haven't really enjoyed it yet. The couch I ordered arrived and ended up not fitting into my basement, so I've been forced to order a new setup. It will take another 14 weeks before it shows up...ugh! Even though I've sat down there with just a chair and listened to music and watched clips from my favorite movies, I haven't really enjoyed it yet. On a side note, the two subs you see in the photos are the Klipsch SW-112's and I'm not that impressed with them. It may be that the bass is being lost by escaping the room, but I won't know until the room is furnished and complete. This saturday I'm hooking up a James Cinema 15 to compare for giggles. I plan on doing a bunch of wall treatments and along with the new couch I'm hoping it will contain the sound a lot better.
  8. No I haven't, maybe one day in the future.
  9. Its 15.6' wide and 16' long with 9' ceilings. Almost square.
  10. It's a 60" LG, good enough for now. Looks tiny in the room, I know.
  11. That would work as well, its just way too skinny for todays standards.
  12. I have dual 22" monitors and my native resolution 1680 wide, about 80% of the photos posted on this site are cut off? Is there an option to view the forums in a wider format? I swear it was designed around a 15" monitor at 800x600 resolution...LOL.
  13. Hey guys, for those of you in Canada, you might want to look at Radiocrafts in Calgary, they are selling the RF-7 II's for $2470. A decent price, and they are an authorized dealer. http://www.radiocrafts.ca/klipsch-calgary-store.html
  14. Thanks guys. I ended up playing around with things and changed my L/R mains back to small and set them at 60HZ I upped the center and surrounds to 80HZ and left the rear surrounds at 90HZ What I haven't done yet is change the LFE to 120HZ, it's still sitting at 80HZ. I tried switching back and forth from Small to Large for the L/R mains to hear the difference and you can definitely hear the sound fill up when the mains are set to small.
  15. I just moved in, the room is not complete. My couches haven't even arrived yet.
  16. I have a Marantz SR7005 running a 7.2 setup. My L/R mains are Klipsch RF7-II's, RC-64 II Center Speaker, RS-62 II Surround Speaker's & CDT 5650-C rear's. I'm running two 12" subs. I ran the Audyssey setup using all 8 reference points, and it set my speakers to the following. L/R mains to large - Full Dynamic Range Center - Small 60HZ L/R surrounds - Small 60HZ L/R rears - Small 90HZ SUB - not sure, doesn't display. But I set the reciever to LFE 80Z All Speakers were set to small originally, and after running Audyssey theses were the settings? Is this correct?
  17. Thanks. Yep. Thanks! Camera Model Canon EOS 50D Tv( Shutter Speed ) 0.4 Av( Aperture Value ) 9.0 for the DOF shots Av is 2.8 Metering Mode Center-Weighted Average Metering ISO Speed 800 Lens EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Focal Length 17.0mm Haha...good enough?
  18. Yeh I just realized this after I typed it. Read up on Audyssey's site and smacked myself. Re-running it tonight.
  19. I recently setup my 7.2 system and after running Audyssey it set my RF7-II's to Large and 40HZ. They sound amazing!
  20. My reciever finally arrived. Removed my buddies equipment and hooked my stuff up. Now if only my couches would arrive.
  21. I have the entire Reference series from Klipsch and I'm wondering if they are THX rated. My receiver has the option to have it set to THX certified or not. Thanks.
  22. We are in the house now. I can't wait to get my couches so I can actually sit down and enjoy it.
  23. Some progress. My furniture hasn't arrived but I managed to get things hooked up. The cabinet you see is just temporary, I haven't found the exact stand I'm wanting yet. The stupid site is cutting off a portion of the photo, you may have to right click and paste the link into a browser to see the full image. They are 1000 pixels wide.
  24. My system will be intsalled this weekend. I got the entire reference line.
