Got the rest of the Tri-traps today, these made a HUGE difference!

Now don't get me wrong because your system looks very nice and I am jealous of all of the room you have. I've got 92 inches of space to cram the whole front in. And bare in mind I have not listened to a system like yours. Now my room is very cluttered with lots of crap so this could be taking place of the panels in a clean room like yours? But isn't surround sound designed to be reflected? Isn't that the reason for die-pole speakers? Have you ever had die-pole's in your system or listened to them to compare? I was thinking of using the RS-62 or 52 II for rear and RS-42 II for side and RS-41 or 42 II for heights. That is correct, the relection points I was refering to is only the front-soundstage....your surrounds you want some reflected sound off the sidewallls/backwall but NOT off the front wall. In a room the size of yours bipoles can make your room sound bigger than it is (a good thing)....but in my room I didn't care for them...I preferred the direct firing bookshelf. This could also be me to.....some love bipoles.

Got my 6 242 GIK panels today and mounted them on the drop ceiling (that was NOT fun!!) and thought I would post some before and after pics....I havent ran Audyssey on it yet but the sound is a lot more crisp and smooth sounding. 9.1 has a lot of reflection points LOL!! Here is the foam before: Here are the new panels:

Getting 4 of those in 2 weeks!!![]

First, I wanna say I have NEVER and I mean never had such great servive anywhere....I have talked to Byran & christina on the phone and probally have sent byran 100 emails LOL!! if not more. He answer quickly and enjoys doing so....I just made 2 more orders on top of all of this and will be doing my other sysyem with GIK and will suggest them to ANYONE. figured I would post some pics of some traetments I have redone. Here is the foam I had with all reflection points "Left side MLP" GIK suggested 3 panels on this side and the farthest panel is not touching the "tri-trap" although it looks like it LOL!! Here is the foam I had with all reflection points "right side MLP" GIK suggested 3 panels on this side also. Here is the Tr-trap in the corner, I have 2 tops coming also that will stack on these full size ones and will extend it to the top. Here is the foam I have on the ceiling with reflection points (all 3 seats) and I have 6 242 panels on the way to put in place of the foam. So far the bass has improved dramitaclly and the detail has also increased dramitacly over the foam.

That is very true!

http://www.youtube.com/user/nezff#p/u/3/FkK1cZuGD2Y Have to say I like it better with the covers off...goes good with all the black.
-
I bet those treatments made a difference, mine did for sure. Maybe some diffusion between those panels on the ceiling? I placed some over MLP and it made a unbelievable diference.
-
Are the panels behind the sub (in-between the mains and TV) are those absorbtion or diffusion that is covered? Just curious? Either way it looks great. I like the whole black theme. Curious if you could do another vid with the covers off to show those gold woofers?

VERY clean looking set-up.....very nice!

Added some diffusors: MLP: backwall:

Need help deciding on center channel speaker.

I dont know about the RC-64 but the RC-64II blows away the RC-62II with ease...no comparison. -
Easily! The great think about klipsch is they are VERY efficent.
-
Also, for music you may want to try the Audyssey flat curve, I like this alot more for music...but again my room is treated also...but I did prefer this when it wasn't. I used to use this for movies as well but realized the Audyssey curve is better for movies/games INMHO! Also make sure dynamic volume is NOT set to "evening"...if it is it will sound very weak compared to the "day setting" I turn mine off.

it means you have the negative wire in the positive terminal and a positive write in the negative terminal. Just switch them.
-
This is a very good point.
-
Since elememtal design has resolved there amp issues I would go with them, they have UNBELIEVABLE subs INMHO....I would go with the A5-350....I have my secomd A5-350 on the way.
-
Great amp!! You have good tatste![]

I re-did the side panel and finished the back walll and figured I post some pics...I have some MetroFusor Sound Diffusor on the way that will go above MLP and on back wall as well.
-
I have a 9.1 systym with 4 Rf-82II up font and Rc-64-II and it will blow you away. Klipsch speakers are pretty efficent and a lot of power is not needed. Here is my systym minus the surrounds:

Like a bonus room.

you also have pretty tall ceilings to if I am not mistaken? Bet it sounds good! No, not really. 8-9 foot peak. From the video I saw it looked to be 12-15 lol!! The vaulted ceilings are awesome though....have you considered any sound diffussion up there?, I am considering it on my back walll and above my listening position.

Post pics! When finished!
