I have three of these, all unused. Two are unopened. On one, the plastic tab came off the packaging. I have one Fospower Toslink to Mini Toslink 3ft cable unopened. It gives you digital output from the 3.5MM jack to Regular Toslink. 65 shipped each, 6.50 for the digital cable if someone wants that with theirs. PayPal friends and family

Will these work okay in KLF30s? Just curious... I'd love to see what they look like, if anyone has some.

Aside from the impedance difference I can't say what the difference is from a sound perspective. If you have any anecdotal evidence to the difference please post it, I'm curious too.
I didn't notice much difference at the time. I had two pairs playing side by side in stereo. Each channel had one speaker with the fluid, one without. They sounded awesome in that setup! I tried stacking, but liked side by side better in a larger room.

Keeping this thread going for documentation sake. I replaced the ferrofluid today in both tweeters. The one above with the strange looking impedance graph was fairly dry when I went to soak up all the old fluid. Upon replacing it and re-running the tests the impedance is smooth. So, in case anyone comes along in the future, treat it like your car's 100,000 mile checkup.
Thanks for the post! I have two pairs of KG4, and I found one pair had fluid while the other did not. I'll have to put some in. I never critically compared the two to notice the difference.

Let me know if you have any, I need four preferably! Thanks

Great looking and sounding horns! I have a similar pair myself. GLWS

The Crites Ti diaphragms sound excellent. I've bought probably a dozen or more over the years. Enjoy!

There are rubber surround kits out there. I'd measure the diameters and check the speaker parts online stores, as well as Ebay. I bought rubber surrounds for my KLF 30s and they work great. I forget where I bought them from. It was a couple years ago. What is wrong with the old surrounds exactly? I like KG4s too! Often underrated.
