  1. Haha, Not the upgradeitus. That shit is an aweful desease that leads to weight loss, resless sleeping [on the couch] and in the end divorce.
  2. Earthquake cinenova grande 5, will blow doors on them both, sound wise and power wise.
  3. It sounds incredible, and talk about different yours sound different as well, I also like different and would love to see yours do you have pics?
  4. Believe it or not, black shoe polish paste. Just rub on to your cabinet let sit for just a couple minutes and polish off, they will look like new and you can wax after with furniture polish and it does not come off. My 16 yr old klf 30s look brand new.
  5. I couldnt afford to use burlwood so I got the oak as close as possible to the sub as I could. It also works great as a cabinet stiffener. I used cross braces on the inside in 3 places. cabinets are now 15lbs heavier each but an unbelievable sound difference. I highly recommend building up the cabinets and its not that difficult.
  6. I did not rewire the center channel, I cut out 1 end of each kv3 cabinet to let the air flow freeley as if one long cabinet.and bolted together inside. Fill small gap where they meet with wood putty and you have one long cabinet. then connected the 2 covers together recoverd with new cloth and placed one klipsch badge in the center. Used a jumper wire from 1 speaker terminal to the other and it drops to 4 ohm which is not a problem with the earthquake amp. Being twice as wide it blends much better with the fronts.
  7. My photos are on previous post to yours. Ultimate sound
  8. Thank you. IMHO Earthquake sound is very underestimated and I am not sure why. Made in USA, the owner Joseph Seyhoun is an electronic genius and there Nova products are the best out there in their price range and above. And sometimes you can find good deals on used. But their equipment is hard to find used, once somebody has it they dont want to give it up. I will tell you this Joseph has become a friend of mine ,I have spent hours in his office soaking in his knowledge and he is a rebel as far as other companys are concerned because he hates misrepresentation marketing and companys selling people products they dont need just to make a buck. He takes pride in his innovations and takes pleasure in the fact that people enjoy his product. With him its not all about the money. I highly recommend calling him if you ever have any questions about an earthquake product. Unlike other companies you can call and ask for him and he will personally get on the phone or WILL call you back. He has helped me tremendously and he knows I bought my sub and amp used.
  9. Sorry new to this. more photos on first post today.
  10. If you havn't heard an Earthquake supernova you should. By the way my photos are up ,I think
  11. Photos are in prior post of my ultimate sound. Till I hit the lottery.
  12. KLF 30 cabinets have been reinforced inside, and outside with solid oak siding at woofer level, What a difference.
  13. I will do my best, not sure how to post pics but will give it a shot. I have had my KLFs for 16 yrs bought them new but with this amp and sub its like having new speakers.
  14. No question just a new guy proud and bragging a little. Just completed my dream system. Pioneer Elite reciever vsx92txh used as pre amp for an Earthquake cinenova grande 5, Klipsch KLF 30s fronts, Earthquake supernova 15 sub in burlwood, 2 Klipsch kv3s cabinets have been custom connected to make 1 long center channel {sounds incredible}. Klipsch in ceiling surrounds, LG blu-ray player wi-fi connected and a Technics SL1210 turntable. Anyone who hasn't heard KLF 30s driven by Earthquake hasn't heard KLFs. The clarity is top notch.
