This was a recent article on AVS. Might be worth looking into any of these depending on your needs: http://www.avsforum.com/a/projectors-101-avs-favorites.
it looks like the 5010/6010 is on there, so if you already have that one, you have most likely made an excellent choice.

You could also give a Denon 4311 a look in that price range. I love mine.

That looks great with your decor. I think Maple would have worked in my living room quite nicely now that I look at it, but black was the safer bet for the long run for me. Good stuff!

I bought my first of many Klipsch from a military exchange store e.g. LaScalas in the Phillipines, Quartets in Iceland, Chourus IIs in Germany. I can tell you from experience that the company from MA does (or did) a LOT of marketing in the PX / BX / AAFES stores and there is some ready cash to be spent
See, hear and buy then have them shipped to home.
While the olden days of having 'audio clubs' on base may be gone I am positive that a speaker company that didn't have the budget available for a sales rep could find a knowledgeable fan who would work the stores for oh, a set of speakers delivered home and a name tag. The military folk do love some stereo.
This is true. I would love to have a 3 way option that is more in line with the cost of the reference series. Even a little bit higher priced would work, as long as it's more affordable than the palladiums (although I would love to have a set of those).

That's not a sub, that's a piece of furniture 8^o

Oppo 103 is in the mail, I had to send back my denon after it wouldn't connect to netflix. I'm looking forward to it!
-
Had problems with the denon, it wouldn't connect to netflix. I called their techs and they couldn't help me so I sent it back and ordered the oppo 103. It turns out that denonlink isn't actually included in the 1713, so the only reason I wanted it ended up not being an option after I did more reading about it. I'm thinking the oppo will be a better deal with more future proofing. It should be in on Tuesday, looking forward to it =^)

I was looking at Aperions before I went with Klipsch. They seem to get good reviews, but I had no way to listen to them. Good luck with whatever you decide.

There was a recent article on AVS talking about the best projectors out now. Here it is-->http://www.avsforum.com/a/projectors-101-avs-favorites.

^^^Nice, I'd love to hear that.

Go for the 82s, you won't regret it.

I heard of guy that has a 4k projector, so according to that it's already there...if he was full of it, then I would say that it will definitely make it's way at some point. From what I've read, that'd be the only way to buy 4k that'd make it worth having.I've been following Sony with there 4K and it seems like a leap forward but at a huge price, the estimates for the 84inch are over $20'000!
So the price is high and from what I can understand ultra hd is only noticable on screens higher the 65inches. Don't get me wrong I would love to have one but I know it would be many years before I could afford one. I wonder if the technology will trickle down to projectors as well.

whoops, double post.

I'd use them as surround. That'd be awesome for all channel stereo listening to music as well as surround in general.

Call Klipsch for parts. http://www.klipsch.com/Contact-Us

I haven't watched many blurays yet, but I haven't really noticed any difference between the PS3 and my new Denon 1713. Not really the reason I wanted it tho...I dunno, I suppose there could be a difference, but it's pretty small if there is.

My wife and I saw it in the theatre. Would have been better with a different snow white. That chick is worthless.
-
Good choice. I have no doubt you will be totally satisfied.Jumped on an oppo 103 its on the way!

Wifee let me open my bday present a couple days early and she got me the Denon, and I am excited to use it. I'm already listening to Dark Side of the Moon in 5.1 and it's pretty freakin awesome. I can't wait to start expanding my SACD/DVD-Audio collection! My woman is the bomb.

What's your AVR? Sometimes it pays to go with the same brand as your AVR because they link up better for music playback.

Looks pretty nice. Cooling system is definitely a must in an enclosure like that. Do they make them half that size?
