  1. Sounds awesome! Are you going to be using the analog outs, so as to use the internal DAC?

I dont think i have a choice mustang, i want to be able to burn my 24/192 music files to a dvd and play them thru the oppo.

My avr doesnt have balanced inputs what do you recommend for good quality rca's??

Congrats HAmmer! Your are making that system into a super system, lol.Cool

Thx Derrick, i probably got in over my head with this player it looks like you need a engineering

degree to set this thing up [8-|]

  2. wont work owners manual reads

"Mono summing with a RCA Y cable is not reccomended as this

    willcause high amounts of distortion.

Mono summing with a Y cable can be accomplished with the use of a modified

cable by implementing a 1K Ohm series resistor in each leg of the Y"

  3. I was going thru some old totes that i had in storage and came across this

that my denon or ps3 dont support plus the 105 plays sacd's. i've read that the Ps4 isnt even going to play regular audio cd"s

    thats rediculous

  5. I've been looking for an excuse to get a 105 because niether my Ps3 or dennon 4311

will play my high resolution 192KHz music files are you guys real happy with those units??

also looking at the back of the 105 do you connect your amp to the OppO? i see there is

    connections for a 7.1 configuration

  6. Man that's a lot of speaker for such minimally used channels. Do you cut all your stuff off at 80? I bet once you move those back and spread you actual left and right speaker out further you will love your front soundstage more than ever!

Hope so Scrappy, I'll also be adding another cap2400 this fall. Should really shake the earth :)
