  1. I'm going to be moving a pair of my 83's for rear surround in a 7.1 setup And I was wondering if there is a certain distance behind the seating that is best and how far apart The speakers are? Or doesn't it matter because audessy will take care of that Thx for your help John

  2. Thx everyone for following the project it's been a fun couple of months going from a

    bare basement to the finished product, alot of work and a alot of $$ but all worth it in the end.

  3. After 2 frustrating days i finally got everything setup,

    i had a ground loop buzz that was driving me INSANE!!!

    after going thru a 1000 different possibilities i was able to eleiminate it.

    babadono i dont remeber where i downloaded that picture,

    i brought it to a print shop here in town on a flashdrive but because its

    a jpg file it was all distorted when she enlarged it to 24x30.

    so she went online for me and found a Klipsch logo in Vector art format

    and added the text with a adobe program and enlarged it for me it turned out great.

    i got it printed on some good quality photo paper. then i went to Michael's crafts and got a 24x30 black

    aluminum frame. they have the pic there on file at the print shop i went too

    if you want to get one made up just PM me and ill send you the info.

    they can do any size you want

    they will ship it to you

  5. Finished!!! The room construction if finally done about 2 months to the day we started.

    i just started bringing a few items in and should have everything setup memorial day weekend.

    i still have a couple bass trap panels for the back wall coming.

  6. The guys from the Mill Work store came out today and finished up

    with the floor molding, window framing and they hung the new door.

    i just gotta get the hardware and install it. the floor is getting sealed

    on monday and then carpet next wednesday the 22nd. The seating is

    getting delivered on thursday the 23rd then i can start moving all the audio gear in

    and start setup. I'm going to wait and see how the room sounds with the carpet and furniture

    b4 i buy any acoustic panels, im hoping i can save money by not having to get any.

  7. If you have a blu ray player that supports 4K playback

    will you need to upgrade your TV also??

    i currently have a Panasonic VT-50 series 55in plasma

    and im wondering if that will display 4K with the proper Blu-ray Player

    I really dont want to have to buy a different tv

  11. I took a ride out to JTR speakers today and had the Pleasure of talking to jeff

    about some different sub options and i ended up taking this bad boy home with me

    He walked me thru a tour of the shop, he's building a 30 seat movie theater in the shop i cant wait to see the

    finished product. Had alot of fun there Jeff is really a great guy and knows his stuff i really learned alot talking with him today
