The tubes would be for changing from the Yamaha CR-2020 to a tube integrated amp for a cleaner sound. The apple products are hard to get the specs for. They leave a lot of information out. I do want to use the flac files but wanted something like the 24 bit. The squeeze box can do it but I was looking at something nicer. Bill M

Right now I don't have dac's but I'm using a MAC airport express but it Won't go above 16 bit. I would like to stream higher quality. Bill

The reason I put this in "Technical Questions" is because I'm not even sure of what bit rate I would use and also what speed I would require from my internet provider also.

I have just bought a new IMAC and want to play some HD files across the room to my Yamaha Cr-2020 receiver using Cornwall 3’s as speakers and want to store and stream HD audio. I need recommendations on a program and equipment. I would like to add a tube integrated amp in the future. Bill M

I would touch them up with a light stain where the deep scratches are and oil the walnut and it will bring these to life. I paid $350. for a near perfect set of the ones. I use them in my bedroom. Bill M

Can Coax be used for custom audio connections between components? I've been seeing RCA coax conectors and even RCA mini coax connectors. I can see where it would do for a custom job with lenghts and bundling. Do they make a clear insulation?

Does anyone make a selector for dual sources and speakers combined that the source input is phono plug rather than these tiny little screw clamp types? I want to be able to switch from a two channel receiver to an AV receiver and use different fronts to judge personal opinions on speakers. I would like it to place it under receiver or piece of audio gear. Everything I see would use a tweeker to tighten the wire! and I don't want something that looks cheap. Bill
