A few years back when I originally got my RF-7 ii set up I made the decision to go to the shipping company that was holding my speakers for delivery so that I could pick them up a day early. When I got there the seven channel set up in boxes was much bigger than I had anticipated, I should've done my homework.
To make matters even worse I decided to take them all out of the boxes and leave the boxes at the shipper. I was even more green then, than now so did not realize the importance the boxes would have . So, this question may have been asked before and I just did not see the answer. Can I buy a set of boxes from Klipsch and have them shipped to me? Thanks for your time!

Going to be spectacular Youth, reminds me of the movie palaces of old. What talented individuals, designer and builder.

The horn I have is the 805 tar filled with the 288 driver.
I have one of these woofers, it needs reconed
A friend of mine does speaker reconing for all the Wehrenberg theaters in St. Louis area and some other theaters throughout the country . Well respected in St. Louis area. If you don't have anyone in mind to do it I could give you his info .

Come on guys, Tim knew exactly what he had. He enjoys playing mind games with the masses, who rush to fleece the rube.
I didn't realize that it was the Tim gentleman again, he DEFINITELY knows what he has, I guess he just wanted to move them.
Very knowledgeable, of course when it comes to specs he had to dumb down his layman's terms for me .
Or he knew that he would get someone to that layer of his, that warehouse full of goodies that he knows no one will be able to leave without making additional purchases.

I guess I wasn't even close to first in line, I emailed him at the 14 hour mark.

I see it pays to spell Altec, "Altech" in the search
I just search "speakers" and sort through, sometimes I'll put actual names. Like you said you never know how someone is going to spell something . I've seen many "clips" speakers, maybe it's just that darn dictate texting and left uncorrected .

I think these are too big to be Voice of the Theater speakers that I was originally thinking they were.

Im glad someone knew some ACTUAL info on these, I, personally, was going to have to say. " A whole sh#@tload of speakers for 100.00"! At 7ft tall I don't know exactly where I would put them, I could for sure rock out my two car garage

Hello, I realize this is kind of unlikely but hoping to find someone who needs a 64 whereas I would like to try LCR. It will eventually be behind an acoustically transparent screen but in the meantime will be for all eyes to see so I prefer black ash to match the rest of the set up. Has been in the same place since I got it a couple years ago no blemishes or scratches that I'm aware of I'll check it over this evening when I get home. Thanks for your time!

Was there a story with them at least? Maybe how the previous user got them from a CB GB's and if only these speakers could talk or somebody was seriously neglectful and had them outside on their patio through 30 years of four seasons?

Thanks, "timdog"
Allriiight! Glad a local yokel went and got them, I'm curious to see what type of magic you work on them but I remember seeing pics on how beautiful your others were.

Anything I've ever read on any home theater forum says the center channel and subwoofer are the two most important features of a home theaters sound. Three matching speakers upfront for the best front soundstage. Because of height a lot of people can't make that happen but most who don't seem to say they wish they could.

Hmmmmm, about 5 minutes from where I work.....I need this like I need a hole in the head. But I said that before my last hole.[/quote

That's what I would've considered if anything, I think I'm going to stick with my B& K though and get a 200.5 Just so it matches my 200.7The Acurus 200FIVE is "worth" about $700.00 tops so $50.00 for the rest is not too bad.
Buy it all, keep the Acurus, sell the rest and you would have yourself a fine 5-channel amp for about $200.00.

I do have access to some pretty sturdy boxes and all sorts of corner styrofoam, bubble wrap in all sizes and shapes and all sorts of packing material but is It the Klipsch specific box that people are wanting or they don't care as long as it's shipped safely?
