  1. The KS-14's cones are NOT made out of paper. This is what I read on the BB website but I purchased a pair and love them. The KB-15's are louder and I tried them first but didn't do what I was shooting for. Got the KS-14's and love them. I can say honestly, they are not paper. Take a bright flashlight with you to best buy (grill doesn't remove easily) and shine in there Nya's 1 4 inch woofer that matches the rest of the icon series speakers and 2 horn loaded tweeter in each speaker.
  2. I recently got a RC-52ii for Christmas and I own bookshelf and towers that belong to the icon series and want to the center to match. $300 OBO
  3. I've seen really good prices on amazon but don't know exactly what you're looking for
  4. I do love my mains. I've been lurking online all day reading up. Looks like ill be getting the KC-25. Thanks for the help guys!!
  5. Thanks, I changed my speakers to "small" and made some other adjustments and helped but I'm with you. I'm just under powering them I believe. Thanks for the replies guys!
  6. Not really sure what you mean by timbre match? I'm using a yamaha 367 which ive had for awhile but plan on keeping it awhile longer before upgrading. It'll prolly actually be my last upgrade.
  7. I'm looking around and I currently have KF-28's in the front but was given a sweet deal. I'd like to go all icon (on a budget) but was offered the RC-42 at $140 or the RC-52 for 160. The KC-25 which I know is a lesser speaker from what I understand is still at $249 so my question, what way do I go!?
  8. Hey all, been lurking for awhile and finally jumped on board! Thanks in advance for any help/ideas I have a yamaha 367 (base model of yamaha at the time of purchase) and I recently upgraded my towers to KF-28's and plan to add the KC-25 in a few weeks. Problem is some music I listen to distorts and crackles on the towers. Now I never noticed this before but then again I had them less than a week before I noticed them. I don't do the super loud music but in not one to shy from jamming when the wife and kid are gone. I've never (IMO) pushed these speakers. Maybe to a +3 for about 5-10 seconds and nothing more than -10 any other time. Did I possibly damage them by cranking on them for that short amount of time?
