  1. I am considering replacing/upgrading the KG.5 rears that I am currently using. What would be the optimal fills to match my KG5.5's? ------------------ My simple system: Denon AVR-1801 Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear, KV-3 center & KSW12 sub My website
  2. I also finished watching it a little while ago and was not particularly impressed. The cars weren't fast, the driving was aweful, and I don't care for riced out cars of any make. ------------------ My simple system: Denon AVR-1801 Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear, KV-3 center & KSW12 sub My website
  3. Glad to hear you are happy with it. I am very satisfied with my KSW12 (and all the Klipsch speakers). The 15" sub would be too much for my tastes (and my neighbors) ------------------ My simple system: Denon AVR-1801 Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear, KV-3 center & KSW12 sub My website
  4. My KG5.5's are about 6 years old and still sound awesome. I wouldn't agree with selling them. ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear, KV-3 center & KSW12 sub My website rm -rf /bin/laden

  6. I bought a KSW12 and am quite happy with it. Maybe my ears just don't know better, but the system as a whole sounds awesome to me. Thanks ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 (ordered) Pioneer VSX 454 receiver (retired soon) Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  7. Thanks for the input. I ordered a KSW12 and it will be here tomorrow, but the new Denon reciver arrived today to replace the old Pioneer Prologic. After watching The Matrix, I wish I had held off on the sub. The KG5's produce more bass than my neighbors will tolerate (apartment). I can only imagine how it will sound with the sub. ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 (ordered) Pioneer VSX 454 receiver (retired soon) Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  8. I also like the sound effects in "The Mask", but "The Matrix" is my favorite. Need to buy T2SE, have never seen it. ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 (ordered) Pioneer VSX 454 receiver (retired soon) Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  9. Thanks guys. I am going to get the KSW-12. -Chuck ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 (ordered) Pioneer VSX 454 receiver (retired soon) Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  10. Which would work better with my other speakers? Is bigger always better? ------------------ My system: Denon AVR-1801 (ordered) Pioneer VSX 454 receiver (retired soon) Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  11. Thanks for all the responses. I ordered a Denon AVR-1801 today. Got it for $318 delivered and can't wait until it gets here ------------------ My system: Pioneer VSX 454 receiver Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  12. Thanks. They still sound great, as good as they did in '95 when I bought them. So I am sure they will last many more years. eq_shadimar, I am not purely a "Chevy guy", though my last 3 cars have been GM. I like a fast bargain, and the F-bodies have been rocking Stangs since the early '90's -Chuck ------------------ My system: Pioneer VSX 454 receiver Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden This message has been edited by 98_1LE on 10-30-2001 at 05:46 PM

  14. I know there are a bunch of audio fanatics here, so hopefully some will have suggestions (I am home-audio ignorant). I am looking to upgrade my old Prologic receiver with a more modern one. Power isn't much of a concern as I live in an apartment, though I would like to be respectable. I'll probably replace it again in a couple years when I buy a house, but want something with better DVD surround effects to tide me over until then. I am considering the Denon AVR-1801 but wanted some opinions. Thanks, Chuck ------------------ My system: Pioneer VSX 454 receiver Pioneer PD-F100 CD changer Pioneer DV-414 DVD player Klipsch KG5.5 main, KG.5 rear and KV-3 center My website rm -rf /bin/laden
  15. I have a pair of Klipsch KG5.5, a pair of KG.5 & a KV-3 that are about 5 years old now. They have not been abused, how long can I expect them to last? Thanks ------------------ My website rm -rf /bin/laden
