Heya Paul! Remember that big hole I had? Welllll it's just about gone. Will finish it tomorrow. Gotta get some stuff done in here now that the weather is turning cooler while you're warmin up. Won't be long for either of us it seems but we'll survive. Always do!

Just reading a story on my news feed about a local lad and his amazing guitar
Redland Bay is about 20 kms from me 🖖
In short
A Queenslander could soon be seen alongside guitar greats like Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and Slash after taking out a global guitar award with his unique sound.
Redland Bay resident Dylan Reavey was recently awarded the 2019 Guitarist of the Year in London.
The competition, run by music magazine Music Radar, saw hundreds of guitarists enter their best performances from around the globe.

I'm not really criticizing Franks. His stuff was cute and catchy. I just couldn't use it for what it was clearly intended for. My MO was of a different tack.
It’s nice and relaxing in the early morningProbably nice as background music if you want to concentrate on other things

I remember it and a lot of other tunes of his played on the pseudo jazz station. At the time it seemed like great chick music for dates but I could never lower myself in reality to spin it.
The M Franks album was part of a bulk purchase of LPs I recently purchasedBut another album that was included - I will never play but probably donate it to the local charity is The Ormond’s - Homemade 🤯🤯

Now I don’t know if other people like this band
And even though they are a pop band - I would say they were a brilliant pop band
Just about all songs on this album we’re hits
I just know you will get a nostalgic boost from this post and recall a favourite song and spontaneously sing it 😎

Didn't realize you were 3 hours outta Melbourne. Ugh! Looks pretty nice but we allll know how the "record fair" prices would be like. lol
Brisbane to Melbourne is 853 miles by air ( longer by road ) so it’s a little out of the way Dave
In Brisbane I visit our local record fairIts a monthly event
And it’s less than a 10min drive from me
I even have a specialty made “custom” leather satchel to fit records for my visits

No as it’s a 3 hour flight to the venue
Plus I’m working
As it’s an annual event, I may get to visit another year

Hi guys
I’m sure this is the wrong place to ask this question
I have a new pro-ject essentials 3 table
Want I do t understand is this
On the anti skating weight and wire that hooks onto the tonearm. Why is it behind the
Pivot point and not in front of it
To me, I would think that if it’s behind where it swings from let to right. That it should make it pull to the right! Not to the left
As the LP spins and the needle is in the LP
The anti skate should help it to be more on the center of the grove.
Here’s a pic of the table and hopefully someone can educate me on this and tell me if I’m thinking backwardsDesign wise it’s not so great
I have read that the wire at the notched bar end tends to slip off
If that happens a little blue tack is the answer
