  1. I agree but never owned one Our next door neighbor had one of the big Chrysler systems that had a stacker TT But this is the reason On the spindle thing. Side 1 plays, when it's done side 2 plays. When it's done, flip entire stack of records over and repeat In this case for a double album you flip over for side 3 & 4

  9. I am currently listening to a 4 CD release of King Crimson - The Great Deceiver But im my case it’s streamed over the Bluesound Node  
  10. If one wants to add any oil to a record to limit static - it should be lanolin And that should be diluted with alcohol and water Or Added (just a few drops) to a standard DIY record cleaning recipe
  11. One can do Sorbothane on the cheap as anything HiFi attracts a premium $$ Use Sorbothane shoe insoles ( the flat version ) and cut to size

  13. @dirtmudd @Dave1290 Sorbothane is what I recommend You can encase a raw egg in Sorbothane and won’t break after smashing it Neoprene ( As in the link ) is something totally different and works great under machinery

An album first released in 1970 The last album from this band and probably the best When released the band had essentially disbanded Apparently- Future Blues’ May have been the first album to show ecological concern. The inside cover was of the band in a redwood forest and it called for the saving of the redwoods. The track “So Sad” would cover as well the ecological topic. A fantastic album with some memorable tracks Artist - Canned Heat Title - Future Blues

  22. That was a Thorens TD 147 ( same as a TD 160 super with auto lift at records end ) I need to get a restart of the new plinth for it - but work commitments are keeping me form that job

I have a treat for King Crimson fans Just arrived today in the post one day earlier than expected  This is a bootleg LP with a track that is unreleased & I wanted to have it for that reason The track is Dr D and also the LP Title So happy that a fellow member Mike. @dirtmudd that gave me a heads up on one available in Australia Thank you Plastic Passion Records in WA 🤟 This is a live album called Dr D primarily recorded in Atlanta - 23rd June 1973  Just playing the album now and loving it as it’s not a studio album I have noticed some wonderful nuances with some improv Artist - King Crimson  Title - Dr D Atlanta 23rd June 1973 Front and back cover in the photos
