I agree but never owned one Our next door neighbor had one of the big Chrysler systems that had a stacker TT But this is the reason On the spindle thing. Side 1 plays, when it's done side 2 plays. When it's done, flip entire stack of records over and repeat In this case for a double album you flip over for side 3 & 4

If one wants to add any oil to a record to limit static - it should be lanolin And that should be diluted with alcohol and water Or Added (just a few drops) to a standard DIY record cleaning recipe

One can do Sorbothane on the cheap as anything HiFi attracts a premium $$ Use Sorbothane shoe insoles ( the flat version ) and cut to size
-
Feels kinda squishy I have 4 round pads under my preamp
-
@dirtmudd @Dave1290 Sorbothane is what I recommend You can encase a raw egg in Sorbothane and won’t break after smashing it Neoprene ( As in the link ) is something totally different and works great under machinery
-
I have tried putting together a similar system for streaming In the end a Bluesound Node won the day
-
An early morning spinning session Great way to start the day A double live album from 4 masters of the trade All the best and favourite tracks are on this album Also an extended version of Southern Man is superb Artist - Crosby Stills Nash & Young Title - 4 Way Street

A good design can be used for many purposes and this one is made to order for a TT stand So I offer my congrats You should post updates on the individual stages of the transformation
-
I have just finished a compilation album as a precursor to playing 4 way street Most of the great and favourite tracks are on it - any more and it would have been a double album Artist - Crosby Stills Nash and Young Title - Celebration Copy
-
I love it Looks like a butchers chopping block However I would remove the wheels and then place some Sorbothane under the legs and also under the TT

An album first released in 1970 The last album from this band and probably the best When released the band had essentially disbanded Apparently- Future Blues’ May have been the first album to show ecological concern. The inside cover was of the band in a redwood forest and it called for the saving of the redwoods. The track “So Sad” would cover as well the ecological topic. A fantastic album with some memorable tracks Artist - Canned Heat Title - Future Blues
-
I have the Canned Heat - Future Blues album Will spin it just for you 👌
