So finally my Father’s Day present has arrived This is what my tight lipped kids got me Artist - Gentle Giant Title - Octopus If time permits I will give it a spin on the weekend

I may be MIA for a couple of days — But will check regularly Had a pet dog medical emergency at the Vet hospital My dog had a tick and developed paralysis so I am nursing him back to health now that he is home Can’t buy any audio related items as it’s cost me almost as much as Mikes new TT

I was gifted a DVD of Tangerine Dream - Live In Lisbon So I’m watching it now while sipping coffee This one below is in London

Measured the tile and was good for under the turntable so I proceeded to give it a try So I placed it under the TT - Gave it the tap tone test and decided not to use it as it has some ringing tone on the tap test Not all is lost as it gave me a chance to clean the dust from that section and put the TT back as it was

@Tigerman Looks like an enjoyable evening I just had a light lunch and contemplating on what to do with a large stone tile I was given Got to check the measurements to see if it will fit under the TT - otherwise under a component

I have been busy with work and my favourite pastime has taken a back seat But with it being Father’s Day in Australia my kids seem to understand my passion for spinning records The Card is a hint on what is coming soon as a postal delay did not make the Sunday deadline Will update when it arrives and we will all know the title as the kids (30+) are tight lipped Fingers crossed 🤞

A fantastic album that I should have purchased in the 70s but funds were low Still love this album - so now that I have more funds in my older age it’s another LP for the to buy list
