  1. VAC 90 tube amp. Older VAC (90’s) but sounds as good as my much newer VAC. Brass plates are showing some age but audio is wonderful.
It is very heavy so shipping would be expensive. Rochester, NY. $1,500

That's the best deal I've ever seen on nicer Lascala's

Thank you. I’m downsizing and still have Cornwalls, Fortes and Khorns. Couldn’t figure out which ones to sell. I need to sell one more pair but I can’t decide which ones. Either the Cornwalls or the Khorns will go but not yet.

If you’re going to make a trip to Daytona Beach or Orlando Fl I’ll buy them. Or if someone near you is going this way and has room for them

Sorry, Carl. They won’t fit in my trunk.

  5. Thebes you were always a breath of wit, intelligence and insight (after decrypting your surface post). Thad, I marvelled at your pot stirring abilities, but almost always knew it was good natured. There were several others that I enjoyed hearing from, both on and off the forum. But the "wild west" air of the forum, which was generally well policed, gave way to one or two heavy handed and self serving mods, nasty comments on the restricted forum and increasingly vague rules. Therefore, I chose to stop posting and just check in from time to time, sometimes hoping to see Amy's return, our even more hoping to see "the most intersting man in the world" mystically return with his unmistakable comments via head shakes.
Nonetheless, several of you have given me many hours of happy times, for which I thank you.
    All the best,
    Earl

  6. I had an MGB when I was 20 years old. I traded my VW bug for it. They were about as different as could be. My VW ran forever, got great gas mileage, could not get stuck in snow...the MGB was totally unreliable, couldn't be driven in ANY amount of snow, leaked like a sieve, and yet it was my dream car. My friend gave me a bumper sticker which summed it all up. It read, "Yeah, but when it runs..."

  7. Snippy comments aside, this is the second great amp offer in the past few months. Still wish I had gotten the corvette distress sale amp. Just felt guilty.
