another thing that worked great was: I parked my truck in my driveway facing my neighbors house, and every time the dogs barked at me or anyone at my house, I would set off my truck alarm with my remote from inside my house! that worked great because it pissed off my neighbors so much that they no longer allowed the dogs near my truck and my house!!

Hey IbizaFlame, on a side note.. I replaced the tweeter in my RF3's with a D220Ti, and no luck making it sound better than the stock tweeter.. Seems like PWK put in some serious effort with the crossover and tweeter in that speaker system.. we briefly spoke about it in the past..

I agree with the people from India, cows are important.

those people that are up late like to sleep in late.. just start to cut the lawn around 7 am and see how they like it.

I have a few neighbors I'd like to introduce you to. I'm still trying to understand what two five year olds and a twelve year old are doing out running around with an RC car at midnight...
I would love to meet them. I would not hesitate to share my opinion of 2 five year old running around my house at midnight chasing an rc car. Sounds like it would be time to let the dogs out.

if you feel your pets are family, then raise them and train them to act as family! Do your sons and daughters bark constantly at the neighbors? Mine don't.

Um, not sure if I am kidding or not on that one. I would not take kindly to someone shooting my dogs per say. Someone shot my in laws cat years ago and it had to be put down because the bb lodged too close to it's spine and it could not walk. Because of the location of the bb, it was inoperable.
I am definitely saying that shooting a bb into a cat is not right.. but if it was pooping in someone's yard everyday, then I understand where the shooter was coming from... all of this cat and dog bs all revolves around how the owners have raise their pets... go after the owners, not the pets!

That is truly sad to hear. I am just wondering if it was pooping in a neighbors lawn regularly, or digging holes in a neighbors grass or something... Some cats do that, and the neighbors of the cat owners can get very upset over having poop in their yards everyday... there is a very fine line here...

I would like to get some ideas on how to limit the barking from my neighbor's two large dogs. They bark at any and everything. Unfortunately, the neighbor doesn't have any consideration for their neighbors. I'm looking into some type of frequency device, such as a piezo tweeter at high freq. Please keep in mind that want to keep it legal!
a neighbor's dog being a nuisance can be quite appalling.

As a dog owner, I would hope if you have a problem with someone's dog that you would take it up with them. I would kill someone if they did something to my dogs. I am happy to work with anyone and I don't see how the dogs get the brunt of it because the owners are negligent.
you sound like a very responsible dog owner, as one one would expect, but unfortunately not all dog owners are that way. I, as a dog owner train my dogs to respect the neighbors.

Bleach? Ammonia ? I don't think so.
Just an old fashioned good spank on the *** like my Father would do with his belt.
Worked good. Lars
you would be surprised.

I could only imagine that ammonia would make them sneeze a lot, and gas would make them sneeze and burn their eyes a little, and that bleach would really burn their eyes..

I would recommend to find a tweeter that plays higher than 20khz and play it at loud volumes facing towards the dogs. Human ears cannot pick up the sounds, but the dogs sure can.. I can not recommend spraying gasoline or bleach or ammonia in their faces, as it may aggravate them and make your neighbors aware of what you are doing. Not that I have tried these chemicals or anything with my neighbor's dogs who like to bark at me and my family as soon as we step foot out of our own house. . . I love dogs, just not theirs..

I have a pair of k 55M if you are interested. $125 shipped (lower 48)?
Is the k-55m sonically different from the k-55 V?
-
I have a pair of k-55 v soldered lugs ( dual phase plug model ) . Let me know if you are willing to pay a little extra for the dual phase plugers. . .
-
Do you mean K-55 V midrange drivers?

Why the frick would someone remove that important thread?!! Lots of good info within that thread... Also all the spec sheets have been removed from the Klipsch website and are no longer available? Why do they do that?
-
looks like you figured this one out.. I was gonna suggest that the amp was the issue.

Hi, try replacing the tweeter driver and the horn with a Selenium D220TI. Its a big improvement. You can use the existing crossover for the woofer section, just create a new xo for the tweeter.
-
I mean in a confident manner - actually knowing why they're doing?
I can solder in a confident manner... just get the soldering iron hot, and use to melt the solder on the wires you are trying to solder.. Thats it. what is so hard about that. I am very confident. lol

... the shop I had before the one I am in now was similar in shape and I ran 6 surround speakers in the ceiling with a sub... it sounded ok, but you can tell that all the sound was coming from up top... no comparison to a pair of Cornwalls.

Hi Big Ears, I own my own business and the shop I operate out of has 15ft ceilings. I had gone thru several Klipsch speakers in there and all I got was a lot of echo. I tried a pair of Heresy speakers, Forte's, RF3's and several bookshelf speakers with either 6.5 or 8 inch woofers.. For the most parts, they all sounded like 80% echo.. It seems the smaller the speaker the more echo there was.. So I figured I would go big, so I went out and acquired a pair of Cornwall II's (1985 era ) .. Problem solved! The Cornwall speakers sound great in my shop. By far the best speakers I have used in there. I listen to the CWII's all day every day Monday-Friday with a very wide variety of music. Im sure there is still a little bit of echo still there, but not noticeable at all. My shop is 1350 square feet with 15 foot ceilings.. I really hope this helps.

BTW welcome to the forum.. and $800 is a good price for the CWII's
