  1. another thing that worked great was: I parked my truck in my driveway facing my neighbors house, and every time the dogs barked at me or anyone at my house, I would set off my truck alarm with my remote from inside my house! that worked great because it pissed off my neighbors so much that they no longer allowed the dogs near my truck and my house!!

  2. I have a few neighbors I'd like to introduce you to. I'm still trying to understand what two five year olds and a twelve year old are doing out running around with an RC car at midnight...

I would love to meet them. I would not hesitate to share my opinion of 2 five year old running around my house at midnight chasing an rc car. Sounds like it would be time to let the dogs out.

  3. Um, not sure if I am kidding or not on that one. I would not take kindly to someone shooting my dogs per say. Someone shot my in laws cat years ago and it had to be put down because the bb lodged too close to it's spine and it could not walk. Because of the location of the bb, it was inoperable.

I am definitely saying that shooting a bb into a cat is not right.. but if it was pooping in someone's yard everyday, then I understand where the shooter was coming from... all of this cat and dog bs all revolves around how the owners have raise their pets... go after the owners, not the pets!

  4. I would like to get some ideas on how to limit the barking from my neighbor's two large dogs. They bark at any and everything. Unfortunately, the neighbor doesn't have any consideration for their neighbors.    I'm looking into some type of frequency device, such as a piezo tweeter at high freq. Please keep in mind that want to keep it legal!

a neighbor's dog being a nuisance can be quite appalling.

  5. As a dog owner, I would hope if you have a problem with someone's dog that you would take it up with them. I would kill someone if they did something to my dogs. I am happy to work with anyone and I don't see how the dogs get the brunt of it because the owners are negligent.

you sound like a very responsible dog owner, as one one would expect, but unfortunately not all dog owners are that way. I, as a dog owner train my dogs to respect the neighbors.

  6. I would recommend to find a tweeter that plays higher than 20khz and play it at loud volumes facing towards the dogs. Human ears cannot pick up the sounds, but the dogs sure can.. I can not recommend spraying gasoline or bleach or ammonia in their faces, as it may aggravate them and make your neighbors aware of what you are doing. Not that I have tried these chemicals or anything with my neighbor's dogs who like to bark at me and my family as soon as we step foot out of our own house. . . I love dogs, just not theirs..

  7. Hi Big Ears, I own my own business and the shop I operate out of has 15ft ceilings. I had gone thru several Klipsch speakers in there and all I got was a lot of echo. I tried a pair of Heresy speakers, Forte's, RF3's and several bookshelf speakers with either 6.5 or 8 inch woofers.. For the most parts, they all sounded like 80% echo.. It seems the smaller the speaker the more echo there was.. So I figured I would go big, so I went out and acquired a pair of Cornwall II's (1985 era ) .. Problem solved! The Cornwall speakers sound great in my shop. By far the best speakers I have used in there. I listen to the CWII's all day every day Monday-Friday with a very wide variety of music. Im sure there is still a little bit of echo still there, but not noticeable at all. My shop is 1350 square feet with 15 foot ceilings.. I really hope this helps.
