There is an old man living with me that is always moving and hiding things I put in a place where I will not lose it and know where I can find it again when necessary. I put my camera cable up this week and yesterday I could not find it. I know he moved it after I put it up. I looked and looked for it numerous times during the day and finally broke down and bought another one on Amazon. Low and behold before going to bed I thought of one more place he might have put it and found it. He hides from me most of the time and actually the only time I see him is when I look in the mirror. Anyone else have this problem. This is not a joke but I thought it might be a good place to post this.

Same old guy has been coming around my place for a long time.

Wow, FINALLY got caught up in here.  Steve's vertical, Grasshopper saved the recliner and will prolly work on an ejection seat at some point, found the Coors, which is VERY important and never gave me anything I didn't ask for.  Hoping everyone down South is going to make it thru the storm.  Now MicroMara is ANOTHER story molesticating

all those poor nursies over there.  😂

Thinking I've got nice weather around here til the end of next week and I'm trying to get ahead of the game a bit but my Auctioneer buddy keeps coming up w/great stuff at amazing prices.  The down side is driving to pick the stuff up.  Snagged a couple more like new magic carpets for this place AND the catch of the eon.  Picked up this Kennedy tool chest for $525.  They had TONS of S-K Wayne tools that went cheap also but I'd just hurt myself with all of those.  Got there to pick up and found out why he had the tools & chest.  He had the engine torn down and was working on his wife's 1960 MG Roadster when he passed.  Talk about a beautiful car?  MINT condition too.  My buddy is talking to her about selling it to me but so far no soap.  This thing is pristine.  So I've been holed-up in the garage takin care of business before the weather changes and I have to figure out where I'm going to put the MG.  hahaha

I KNOW I've got a pack or two of gum in there somewhere!  :)

The old English cars and bikes can be a lot of fun. I've owned many.  Fasteners and threads are BWS (British Whitworth Standard) so be prepared to get at least the basic hand tools.

To easy to round off-strip hard to find nuts and bolts. Also a few taps and dies. Have fun.

I still got one as well, should turn it on more often. We might run into a problem here in old Europe, as production of classic lightbulbs has been stopped by EU law a feww years back. Every no and then i think to myself, i should put away some spares, before they run out of stock in Germany.

What´s the situation in the States/ Canada?

Wally    Canada. I think oven light bulbs are still incandescent. Mostly incandescent bulbs are not available here anymore.

I saw Ian and Co. live, three tours back then. In the wilds of western Canada. Aqualung, Benefit and Thick as a Brick.

Benefit was by far my favorite. Here then:

  5. While golfing last week, my friend had the catalytic converter ripped (sawed) off from his Honda CRV in broad daylight.

He has $300. deductible insurance BUT the converter is pro rated. Total repair bill - $3187. Total cost to him - $1166.

Local school buses have lost 27 CV in the last 6 months. There seems to be no control of the buyers.

Apparently the same 'pro rated' policy applies to slashed tires and I'm sure more.
