MORE KLIPSCH PLEASE

Thats funny, it reminds me of a Ron White story. OMG that Ron White is hilarious .... Those bastards are everywhere around here..couple weeks ago me and The BOSS heading to the shop counted seven of them along the side of the road dead. The shop is 11 miles from the house. I hit one couple years back in my old 1988 Isuzu Trooper II( AKA The Pooper)..... on the way home from the shop there is a nice long straight way about 3/4 mile. woods and some corn fields.... you can see the deer on any given day. as i'm driving in the Pooper this one day I see maybe 8 or 9 deer, they start running and they were going to cross the road in front of me. I'm slowing down from 50 mph or so... I can see that they will cross in front of me but there is this one that is heading for the Pooper.... I slow down more... 40....30.....20....10....and as I'm slowing down I'm trying to steer away from it.... but we were on a collision course!! I pretty much bring the The Pooper to a stop and as I do so the one deer hits the drivers door. It literally runs into me.... as I come to a stop I got out and looked at the deer laying in the road behind the truck maybe some 20' or so. It's on it's side and flopping a bit... It jumps up making some noise and runs off back across the field in to the woods. I stand there saying WT#$@&. I felt like I was in a episode of Twilight Zone....The deer and The Pooper were on a collision course in time and space at that moment and there was nothing I could have done about it... I look at the side of The Pooper... drivers door took the brunt (Big old dent)of the animal hitting me, again I was almost at a stop. Some scratches along the rest of the truck as the deer scrapped along past. This did piss me of quite a bit.....cuz The Pooper was a really a nice little truck with close to a flawless body, fresh set of mud tires, just finished rebuild on the engine and now it was banged up... So yea I've hit a few of em.... Later... MKP

Both the wife and I love music at higher db's than most....but my wife will push it.. last year we had EVi's setup on our deck. the EV's are powered by an old Crown 1010 putting out 200 watts per channel. Well she kept turning that volume knob to the right till the amp started to clip. I heard it in the EV's and the distortion lights flickering on the Crown. I turned the music down and was like WHAT THE @#%& you doing!!!!! can't you hear that amp clipping it's running out of power. She looks at me and says "well you better get me a bigger amp then" and that is my wife lol lol.. OK off to the shop was not gonna work today but I gotta do something... Later all.. MKP

I hear ya Chuck.... Yea very nice here..... got too mid 50's today... Had a dead battery in the F-350, gave it a jump and me and BOSS took a trip to the landfill with a load of leaves. unloaded them, then off to my NAPA store to get a battery for the truck. Stopped by the shop put battery in. (shop closed today by order of the BOSS 😉) After all that excitement off to 5 GUYS for burgers....and that wraps up our Boxing Day. Just chillin' pumping watts in the Chorus I's this evening.. Hope all is good with everyone... MKP

Hey Hey Thanks everybody... The BOSS and I are doing good...shop still rolling and we're doing our thing......fixing Hondas and jamming with KP-362's. had to replace a woofer couple weeks ago. I was hearing a strange buzz like noise on some bass heavy music.... Yea the tool boxes get to rattling but this was different. Narrowed it down to one speaker. The paper was separating from the surround. I had another woofer at the house from a old set of KP-320's I scored couple years back, swapped them out and good to go. I gave the offending K-48-kp to my audio buddy for the re-cone. WoW it has been sometime since I dropped in and posted......too long!! We seem to be getting back to some sort of normalcy since the passing of The BOSS's mom & dad, it's been really hard on her....and it hit me hard also. Anyway We're wrapping up this X-mass day.... we got the grandkids this afternoon, my parents came by and my son and youngest daughter. So it was a good day and we are getting ready to have a nice cup of coffee☕ Hey Dave we're in Mt.Airy Md, not too far... maybe 40 minutes or so. let me know when you'll be in town. Thanks Carl..... I wasn't far.... just lurking in the shadows😜 Thanks dtel 🙂 We got a new fire place this year... a new insert for the fire place... During the summer we got our chimney cleaned and it was in very poor condition had to get a chimney insert and our stove was over 30+ years old and just wore out. The new fire insert is a Osburn stove. this one is 100 time more efficient than the old one. we did one of the pre-burns Friday and another last night to cure the unit. we were also hit with electrical issues, had to get a new panel box and to add some icing.... I had to get a swale in the back yard and a new drain pipe by the house to divert water away. The basement was taking some water cuz of the amount of rain we have had this year. It was so much that it was like a little stream running through the middle of my yard only to pool up on the back of the house's foundation. anyway.... it is what it is..... The BOSS and I are solid Later.... MKP 🙂

Just doing my thing... The BOSS and I are wrapping her parents estate. It's been very tough on her. I feel helpless at times. So much red tape and ... but we do have a fantastic real estate agent... never seen an agent do eveything she has done to help us. got our 1st cord of wood delivered yesterday. Our neighbors( The young couple) hook us up for wood. Yea it's getting cold.. Trying to get back into training and working on my Honda CRX.... Check back later... MKP 🙂

55 on the bus stop this morning with my coffee.... still in my shorts... I keep wearing my shorts as long as I can cuz once I switch over to the long pants there's no turning back.. One of the sales guys that stops in my shop wears shorts all year!!! It'll be zero and he'll be in shorts. He's built like a fire hydrant.... his calf's are the size of my body! MKP☕

Hey gang... No work today and off till Monday... The BOSS and I are going to see Michael McDonald tonight. Been looking forward for this show for some time. The concert is at Wolf Trap just outside of D.C. It's a outside venue.... never been there. We're getting ready to roll out and get some dinner and want to beet the Washington D.C. rush hour traffic(if there is such a thing) On the coffee front..... The BOSS just informed this morning that the pot for the BUNN A-10 has a crack in it. We bought a spare years ago when we got the BUNN but I can't seem to locate it. This is going to be a problem in the AM if it's not found! Anyway... good vibes to all..... Later MKP 🙂

Yes very cool. When I was stationed in El Paso I would catch em and keep them in a fish tank for a few days. I would let them walk on me.... never got bit. Couldn't keep em long they would molt and die. The hanger that we kept the helicopters in had hundreds of Black Widows in the corners. I would take one out of it's web and put it in another one's web and watch the battle. On creature that I found one afternoon was a Wind Scorpion. never seen any thing like it. It was awesome. Love bugs....still do MKP 🙂

Morning/afternoon all, The BOSS and I did quite a bit of cleanup at her mom's house yesterday. Got about 3/4 of the big roll off dumper filled... so much stuff.... a life time of stuff that two people accumulated over 50 years. and there was a whole chitt load of.......... 8 tracks!! oh my god cases full of em!! everything from "A Elvis Christmas", "Rodger Whittaker greatest hits" to "Disco inferno" and so many more. I know you guys want em😜 MKP 🙂

A K-48 should not be that hard to find. I have found a few on e-bay and have two as spares. I've also found K-48 re-cone kits. I found a OEM Klipsch one a few years back and had my speaker guy re-cone one for me. Good luck... MKP 🙂
