Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum I found while looking at the Cornwall III. Let me begin by saying that I grew up as a Hifi Audio Enthusiast. Thanks to my father and his undying love of finding that perfect sound thats a Lifelong JOURNEY. He was into hifi audio and I still have all his vinyl and Marantz 4400 amp. Music is the bible to my soul. The lyrics are the scriptures of my heart. Music was a way for my father and I to bond. When he lost the battle with cancer. I played his final songs that I'll never forget as he took his last breathe. Months later I had a dream with him in it. He said for me to finish what we started together. He wanted to build a pair of cornwalls. He built a lot of custom speaker systems for people around the world. He adored the cornwall speakers and loved the sound. Well I don't have the talent my father did. But I'm on a quest to finish what we started.
Right now, I have a Rotel RSP-1068 and a Kenwood with Def. Technology. I'm going to purchase the Cornwall III soon in about a month or so. After selling some stuff and the tax return comes in. Eventually, I want to hook up the Marantz Amp to the cornwalls. and go with a tube amp. Along with hooking up the record player. Any suggestions for a tube amp, I dont understand the different classes they have. Plus I've seen some youtube videos where it looks like they've got a tube amp per speaker.
