  1. Something else I appreciate is the that the heritage Jubes are a professional finished product. They seem to consist of high quality drivers and a manufacturer included crossover. For years I've read on different experiences where people were gutting the drivers and experimenting with different crossovers on various Klipsch models. This makes it hard to gauge what an actual Klipsch speaker from the manufacturer sounds like. And that is largely why I experimented with so many other brands for years before I finally settled on trying any Klipsch models.
  2. I think the most helpful scenario for this would be a double blind listening test. It will be fun to see how accurately people could discern between the two versions when listening to various songs.
  3. That is the comparison I was looking for. Thank you. I would love the KPT-MCM-3 GRAND. But, I figured I will be on my own trying to figure out crossovers for it.
  4. Ok with that being said, is there a large gap in fidelity for the high frequencies and upper mids between the 3 way Jubes and the Heritage Jubes? I am assuming the Heritage Jubes sound more coherent. But the 3 ways were more prominent In the high frequencies compared to the older 2 way UG Jubes I heard . I am not interested in differences in the lower frequencies since I will always use horn loaded subs.
  5. Have you heard the 535 Jubilee? Mine has the K-691 on the 410 horns and KT-1133-HP on the 402 horns. Just trying to get a better idea of the comparison
  6. I'm good with 2 channels for the Itech. I stay away from multchannel amps nowadays.
  7. If I keep the current 535 Jubilee and change the drivers, I could afford my dream Macintosh 1K monoblocks. If not, I go with the Heritage Jubilees and a used Crown Itech amp. Ah decisions, decisions.
  8. I used that driver in my devastators. It's a very good driver.
  9. Hmm. Ok the K691 was used as the main driver in the older design. That would definitely explain the large gap in performance between the two. Makes me really torn between uograding my 3 way Jubes or biting the bullet and getting the Heritage model. This is going to be a tough decision. Need to see if PE has return policy for cds. I need to hear the Celestion in my current setup to be sure. Is there a Klipsch store in Hope or another store in Texas where I can hear the Heritage Jubes?
  10. What cd was used in the UG Jubilee? I would like to compare the heritage Jubilee to a 3 way UG Jubilee with updated cds.
  11. "Dance puppets dance." Lol. I did not know my question would usher in the clash of the titans. But I appreciate how you handled the situation. That member came looking for the smoke with no chimney. He got what he was looking for. No more, no less.
  12. I owned a pair of Danley SH50 speakers and a pair Danley SH60 speakers. Had them paired with four Devastator subs. Also paired them with 2 JTR Orbit shifters.
  13. In like new condition. Less than 20 hours of use. Price is $450. Shipping will be a flat rate of $40. Please pm me it interested.
  14. I owned Danleys, Yorkville, and JTR speakers before I upgraded to the Jubilees. The Lascalas are nothing like the Jubilees. Less clarity and smaller sound signature.
  15. Will the Celestion axi m2050 mount on the 402 the same? Does the bolt points in the driver match up to the bolt points on the 402 without any altering?
  16. Thank you so much. That is the driver I was looking for. Unfortunately, Parts Express is showing that it is out of stock at this time. Hopefully it will be available by my move this summer.
  17. Struggling between a possible Heritage Jubilee purchase vs. upgrading my Jubilee 535 speakers. Would I get similar results to the Heritage Jubilees if I bought one of the new beefy BEC drivers for the 535? Do you all have suggestions for a replacement driver for the 402 horn in the 535? I just got married and I'm looking to purchase another new home this summer. Looking at various media rooms specs and budgeting for a possible large home theater upgrade.
  18. Sorry for late response. They sold in September
  19. This was a spectacular explanation. It really added clarity to my thought process on these. Thank you so much.
  20. I've searched everywhere. I've not seen anyone with a show room containing a pair of JBL M-2s in the state of Texas.
  21. Most of the HT rooms I've seen are narrow and deep. I haven't seen any wide enough to have 2 jubilees flanking a small pj screen such as 110" diagonal.
