  2. It's 20wpc.

I bought this from someone who had it stored and barely used it. Everything works with no static or any issues. I had plans to do a purely vintage second setup, but now I'm pairing down everything. It sounds fantastic and was great on my fortes (which I've also sold).

  3. $275

Marantz 2220B receiver with wood case in excellent condition.

All lights and functions work with no static.

    Comes with original box.

    Sounds great.

    Located in Terryville, CT.

  4. How would you compare The Sixes to the 75's sound wise?

Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk

They are very similar. The Sixes work better on a desk and seem to be less placement sensitive. The Sixes may be a tad smoother, and the 75s having a little more top-end detail due to the compression driver.

I really like them and would like to keep them...but I can't justify these for my bedroom.
  5. Well...OK  :D

The 75s are a downsize for me. I originally had Quartets in my office, but I couldn't position them correctly. Moved to Heresy III and then decided I wanted bookshelf speakers so I could get them at the right height.

The 75s are now on stands on the outside of the desk.

Sweet speakers. Can I ask why you are selling them so quickly?

    Tim

I was able to get RB-75s and they offer me a bit more versatility. I already had an amp so I decided to go for them.

The Sixes are fantastic and I want to keep them, but I can't justify relegating them to bedroom duty where I may only turn them on once a month.

  8. I live in Florida but have a place in Massachusetts also.   Are you not willing to ship it to Florida?   If so, what is the added cost or  I may be able to pick it up provided I use it up North.

I have purchased the RP line and the boxes don't hold up to shipment.......are these boxes in good shape?

    thanks.

I'd rather not ship this. As you said, they don't really hold up in regular shipping.

This one was delivered via freight so it is in great shape.
  9.

  10. Looks fantastic!  Do they come with feet of any kind?

No feet on them. I'm just using some felt furniture pads underneath (not the moving pads in the photo).

Jeff from JTR recommends essentially what I'm using and doesn't pre install feet because his customers either put the sub the way I have it or on its side.

  11. that was quick. thanks. it is beautiful. looks like a perfect fit for me. gonna have to seriously look into it.

I'll be more articulate when I get some time, but I'll say this is the best subwoofer I've ever heard.
