One last question. The person selling the speakers listed above claims that the grill cover is not removable,and says there are trim pieces around them. Does this sound like an add on ?????

Speakers are # 6N2554 and 6N2555. Can anyone tell me what year and which crossover's might be in these. Thanks

Where can someone find information regarding Cornwall serial numbers and which crossover was used? I have read something about the midrange in some units being factory mounted differently, with better sounding results? What finishes were available for which years? please let me know where I can find some info on this. Thanks

Hello, based on the reviews here, I will be purchasing the Eico HF-81 or the Moondogs( I heard that Welborne is coming out with some new lines that will be available in assembled versions,they will be at the CES getting feedback). Anyway, I am looking for some mint Cornwall's and see e-bay has 2 very nice ones up right now. My second choice due to the Wife factor may be the Legend series KLF-30 rated at 102db or the KLF-20 rated at 100db. Anyone heard these through the Moondog's ? Please let me know your thoughts on this setup.
