  1. I think it will be a blast. I could not have, or would not have, taken the plunge without everyone's help.
  2. Here's a quick and dirty photo of the RB-75's that I was able to pick up today. So far very impressive. Sounds a little thicker and denser than the P17b and RP160M. I like 'em too. I'll have to see how each stacks up long term.
  3. Thanks Scrappydue, I was EXTREMELY lucky with the purchases. basically 1/2 price on the P17-b's is a steal. I am very happy and so surprised how room filling they sound. Just a wonderful immersive sound and definitely a smoother tweeter. I love my Klipsch.
  4. Congratulations Ric, So happy for you. These are amazing speakers and glad you finally took the plunge.
  5. Thank you. 2 channel music listening only. I'm not much of an HT guy. I love to have music playing almost all the time. Hi Bill, I'm still committed to the Yamaha A-S3000 and want it badly. I just saw a review of some B&W speakers and wouldn't you know it, the A-S3000 and companion CD player was driving them. I nearly fell on the floor. The reviewer loved the combination and in particular, the Yamaha. That sealed it for me. I hope to order in the next month or two.
  6. Thank you so much guys. I am in complete awe of what I am hearing. I had them hooked up to my Bryston 28bsst2 amps for the day and now switched to a pair of McIntosh MC75 reissue amps. I freaking love these speakers.
  7. I am sorry to say, but the P17-b are way better. The RP160M hold their own and are amazing for $440 (current special) but the sound stage size, depth, width, height and overall quality of the Palladium is head and shoulders above. As it should be. I never would have guessed that these speakers would deliver this kind of sound. Breathtaking.
  8. I wasn't supposed to see these until Tuesday, next week but, I had them held for pick up and as luck would have it. I received a phone call to come get them. I couldn't wait. Hooked them up on the same stands that I have, just to get them cooking. OMG! These are some serious speakers. Tremendous in the room presence, they play way bigger and go lower than their size/specs would suggest. I am in complete awe once again. I just can not believe it. Please, please, please do not mention the floor standing P39-F speakers to me, I'll die.
  9. Based on what I'm hearing with these RP160M's, I believe the 150's will be awesome, especially as your computer speakers. I'm sure choice of amp will make or break the sound.
  10. Guys, I am blown away by how amazing these little speakers sound. I'm giddy. I'm embarrassed to count up some of the money that I p*ssed away thinking I'm buying "the best". Here right in front of my face are a stellar pair of Klipsch speakers. If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up.
  11. What's the general consensus on toe in? Do you run your speakers straight ahead or with a little bit of toe in? I think mine sound a little better almost perfectly straight ahead......
  12. I have not been this excited/happy since getting back into Klipsch. I'd like to thank everyone for the encouragement. I've wanted Jubilees forever, but not sure I can make them happen. These bookshelves have been supremely satisfying.
  13. Thank you everyone. Black. First pair of Black.
  14. I think so. I'll be having fun rotating through them and hearing what differences exist between them. It will be a blast.
  15. I think Spotify is 320 kbps. It's not perfect but sounds really, really good. With a nice, warm dac will sound awesome.
  16. $650 and meeting face to face to pick up. That was the buy it now price. Started at $450 but did not want to lose out.
  17. Thank you guys. I can't wait. More to follow next week for sure.
  18. And hope to pick them up on Sunday. They look like they are in great shape from the photos.
  19. Thank you very much, I'll try my best for photos.
